10/31/2023: Localization News - Dead of the Brain 1!

No, NOT a trick, a Halloween treat! Presenting the Dead of the Brain 1 English patch by David Shadoff for the DEAD last official PC Engine CD game published by NEC before exiting the console biz in 1999! I helped edit/betatest and it's also a game I actually finished in 2023, yaaay! Shubibiman also did a French localization. github.com/dshadoff/DeadoftheBrain

Soooo im about to do a switch-based region mod on my system. Not wanting to file a new slot for a switch. I use it in a base station so I already have AV output, so the internal RF modulator is useless to me. Can i just take it out and be done with it? or do i have to bridge connections or terminate contacts? I eventually may throw RGB output on it, but for now I would just assume use the switch location and just have an empty factory hole in the side of my console. Does getting rid of that damn RF box help kill some of the feedback noise I hear on my 5.1 system when I pause a game?

I removed the RF box on my TG16 to put a s-video port there. Simply removing the RF box had no negative effects on mine.
