But I have been asked this question a few times before "why I do not sell them individually", first off I get these printed professionally in the city and printing sets makes it not only cost effective but easier for me and worth my time to pick up, trim and to sell. If I let people cheery pick I would be stuck returning to get reprints, plus I would be stuck with piles of keith Courage and sports game stickies

Wow. This thread really exploded while I was busy finishing up my classes.

First off, I must say that I find NW's paranoid delusion of me being a secret agent working for XSeed absolutely hilarious. Honestly, I cannot even recall the last time I logged on to ALOY, and I certainly haven't been speaking to XSeed staff on the side. Still, I can't help but be a little touched that NW sees me as such a threat!

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that what Deuce and XSeed did was indisputably illegal. That does not make it legal, in ANY way, for NW to retaliate by releasing a pirated version of Ys VI at the same time as XSeed's version. NW's argument for why he should be allowed to do this is basically, "They hit me first!" Seriously? Are we all still in Third Grade?

My reasoning for calling NW crazy was not that I didn't believe that he had been screwed over by Deuce and XSeed (although I probably could have clarified that better in previous posts). He may have been. I am not capable of making a proper judgement, because I do not have all the facts and both sides of the story. All I had was NW's word and some circumstantial evidence.

The reason that I feel NW is out of his mind is because his immature actions are only going to hurt any case he might have a chance to make. Whether Deuce and XSeed eventually are found guilty or not, the fact that NW is throwing temper tantrums and using illegal petty revenge tactics is going to make any lawyer or judge in the case think long and hard about supporting him. It will also give XSeed some high-caliber ammo of their own. NW is shooting himself and his case in the foot.

Finally, you can call me crazy all you want, NW. From what I've seen, it's all "Pot calling the kettle black." The simple fact of the matter is that my point of view clashes with yours. If that makes me crazy, having a different point of view from you, I would hate to find out what being a "sane" person is like. They sound like a bunch of sick fucks to me.

I had been trying to put up with it for a while, but when I saw that Facebook post, I decided that I had had enough.

I remember reading an interview with Deuce a while back on Hardcore Gaming 101. He mentioned that one of the main reasons he quit associating himself with NightWolve was because of his behavior after the patch leak. Regardless of the morality of his actions, I can understand where he was coming from. Seriously, I remember NW seemed like a completely different person before that. When the patch got leaked, he went totally ape shit.

This is what I don't get from people on your side of the argument.  We most certainly have more than NW's word and circumstantial evidence.

We have a history of cold hard facts.  Even though I doubt it will do any good let me state them again.

The Felghana fan translation came about due to the hard work of at least two individuals.  A hacker, Nightwolve and a translator, Deuce.

Wyrdwad/Xseed made multiple announcements on ALoY and elsewhere that they bought the fan translation and were using it as the bases of their localization.

Deuce got credit/compensation; NightWolve did not.

Even if the fan translation could have come about without NightWolve the fact remains that it did not.

Wyrdwad hated NightWolve and loved it when some Jackass removed his credits from the translation patch.

Now let me explain those facts to you. 
The translated script was a byproduct of two people not one.  Deuce had no more ownership of it then NW.  And no more right to sell it then NW.  Deucebag stabbed his coworker in the back in order to take all the credit.

When Xseed announced they were using the fan translation they owed all members involved in the fan translation credit.  Even if they changed every word after that they still claim to have used the fan translation and still credit the fan translations translator only.

Wyrdwad has shown malice toward NW for a long time.  I can't see his actions removing fan translation credits sitting well with any rom hacking/fan translation group.  When I saw his old posts on this it proved to me that he was scum of the earth.  And would likely try to screw NW over if ever given the chance.  Which he was.

Now ignore all my interpretation of it and just look at the facts.  The only way the "I don't know both sides of the story" argument works is if you ignore the facts.  Xseed profited off the fact that there already existed a translation that itself only existed because NightWolve helped to create it.  Yet NightWolve received no credit for it. 

So in light of the facts there is really only two sides to cast your lot on.  Either you know NightWolve helped create the fan translation that xseed confirmed using and don't care or don't think he deserved credit.  Or you think NW does deserve credit and at the very least Wyrdwad and Deuce cheated him out of it. 

But you absolutely can't claim to not have enough information to make an informed decision.  And if that is your claim why even butt into it.

Edit:  Oh yeah.  I used Felghana as the example but everything I said also applies to Ys I and II.  And  the only thing that you have to take NW's word on is that it also applies to Origin and Napishtim.  But to me NW's character is not in question so I take him at his word.

What I really take issue with is his childish behavior concerning this whole issue. It's because of this behavior that I had trouble trusting him. Also, it's only going to hurt him if his case ever goes to court.

Sephiroth, thank you for your well-written post. I cannot argue with facts. I said some things in my earlier posts that show how emotional I was while writing them and that didn't make a lick of sense. The truth is, I typed without thinking rationally.

I made my prior posts in frustrated anger, and after thinking about it, you are all absolutely right that this is none of my business and that my ramblings do not hold water.

NightWolve, I can only offer my most sincere apologies to you for all the bullshit I've spewed. I know it's not worth much, considering that this isn't the first time I've done shit like this to you. For what it's worth though, I plan on doing my best to not screw up a third time. Whether you forgive me or not, I totally understand your frustration with me.
