Mysterious Song.
A friend of mine came to me with this game.
he wasnt playing anymore and wanted to sell it to me for a good price :)

Surely someone played this game.  :-k
was it worth the time ? i'm not much into fan-made game, but it looked nice.  :-"

he told me that there's a lot of bugs tho,
i'm going to play on my PCengine DUO-R
dunno if there are console in particular that shows more bugs then the others.
anyway :) small reviews would be welcome

Have a look at spida1a's review on Youtube, this should give you an idea about the game.

There aren't many bugs that you're likely to encounter. There is frequent loading, which like with all PCE CD games, can lead to the laser getting lost before trying again. In those cases, the load times can be as long the average Playstation RPG.

Here's more info about the game:

https://www.superpcenginegrafx.net/mysterious_song/about.html
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

well.. i could keep reading reviews everywhere on the net...
but i prefer talking with true fans.
:) thanks for the infos.

It's not full of bugs.  There's one bug that can leave you with no exit in a randomly generated dungeon, but it's uncommon (I've played through it a dozen times and not found it) and was fixed in the reprint.

If you like RPGs, this is a damn good one.

ParanoiaDragon

It is a bit on the short side, but so was the original game.  We did however add a super dungeon with an expanded story.  Embarrassingly, I have yet to play totally thru the game!  I played it so many times when working on it, that I still haven't picked up the game proper! :P

It's a well-playing game. I didn't encounter any bugs that I recall. There is a lot of loading and I was playing it on a Turbo CD with a gear that was the original and quite worn. Said gear has since been replaced. Cosmic Fantasy 2 has just as much loading if I remember correctly.
