I only buy a few games a year now (past decade). I used to buy dozens and dozens. It actually worked out nicely: I have had a lot of fun spending more time playing and replaying games I already own.

I had an amazing NES collection until someone stole it. Goddam. It was the best. All the best PAL games. Official Nintendo polycarbonate storage system. 4 pads. O u make me cry now.
