Yoshi in Sonic 2 hack anyone play this?

Hey Maybe you have seen this but there is a Sonic 2 hack where you can play as Yoshi. I have a flash cart for my genesis and tried to play it on real hardware. I can't get past the startup screen on a Model 1 and CDX. I was wondering if any of you have tried the same with different results. I;m sure this plays fin on an emulator. If you haven't seen this game here is a link. Also it was created in 2010 during a rom hacking competition. Just recently released outside of that.

Which flash cart are you using? If the game is hacked, it may be too large to function on some carts.

Maybe it's one of those hacks which work only on emulators. I have to give it a try later.

I'm going to try it tonight on my model 2 with the Mega Everdrive (the high end model). I will let you guys know if I get past the start screen!

Played it on my Wii, didn't notice any problems, really well done. Wish Yoshi could do a dash spin, but, aw well.

Im surprised no one has made a physical release of this yet since they seem to with nearly every rom hack, although this would be pretty fun to try out

Well they might not be able to it it will not run on a flash cart. Also My understanding is this just got out. It was made 2010 I think from a competition. If it can run on a custom cart then that would be cool.

I take it no one got it running on actual hardware. The Wii mod sounds cool that it is working there.

Unfortunately, I don't have enough room for all my consoles to be out at once. So, I haven't been able to try it yet.
