Hello,

Using the pin outs on this site and also from "GamesX" I have got my Core Grafx outputting a lovely RGB signal into scart (I'm in the UK).  But, to give true colours I need to amplify the signal (as described on the GamesX site -  http://www.gamesx.com/rgbadd/rgbturbo.htm)">www.gamesx.com/rgbadd/rgbturbo.htm) - the RGB bit was easy but can anyone offer advice on the amplifier part?  Where do I get a +5 volt signal for the amplifier - is it on the rear extension bus?  Can anyone help with some more info on building the amp circuit?

Many thanks!

I post alot on an adjunct of GamesX; in the forums there is a very nice RGB  amp almost perfect for the TG16/PCE, that can be found http://nfg.2y.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=180">here.

I tried the GamesX RGB mod and could never get it to work with the amplifiers. Without the amps, the colors didn't look right. way too dark, and just off somehow. I added the amps, and suddenly the picture wouldn't sync to either my commodore monitor or my arcade machine. I'm pulling sync off the chip, though. I was going to try pulling sync off the composite video port on the extension bus, with an LM1881 chip in there, but never got around to it and lost interest in the project. Got my Saturn and PSX hooked up to the arcade machine and have been busy with them...
