I need your help in choosing a PSP Megaman game!

OK, I think I'm going to get both of these games eventually, but right now should I get Powered Up or Maverick Hunter X?

I like the oldschool games and the X games equally, and music is about 50% of my enjoyment of the games.

Which one would you reccomend?

I voted maveric hunter X. I loved the X part of the series.

I love both series, but, I prefer Maverik Hunter X's mature style, over Powered Up's kiddie style.

I would have kept the psp too. Psp kicks ass! Its the ultimate handheld gaming console. It has bitchin' games, can be used with ps3, plays homebrew, can brick and unbrick, now has tv out, can be used to reflect laser beams, can rip umds to your memory card so you never have to buy games, it says sony on it, you can go online on it, and it even slices and dices julian fries!!!!!

wow, he did? I wondered where the hell zero came from.

Yeah, Zero was his final creation.  Infact, I believe Zero went crazy & killed him.  If you play the Mega Man fighting games, at the end of the 2nd one, IIRC, it shows what looks like Zero being finished by Dr. Wily.  Also, in Mega Man X4, Zero has a nightmare, about Dr. Wily.  I don't know the whole story though, not sure if all of it has been revealed yet........or ever will, since it looks like both the original series, & X are done.

Warning: Powered Up suffers from a HORRIBLE soundtrack. Unless you like baby music.

Don't know about the other one. Powered Up traumatized me enough to keep away from all Mega Man games forever (except the day after, and all other days up until now, and forever).

The main thing I don't like about the music in Powered Up, is that the music seems.....off.  There's missing notes in it, it's ......wierd.

I think I'm going to get this, the music is no more babyish than the X games, it actually reminds me a lot of Virtual ON.
