So we're building a new office...

...got kinda tired of sitting at a table with both computers mushed together. We went out and bought two swingarm desks and prepped the back room of our house for our new venture. So far, so good...but now we have to actually move into the room.

Tried to get the whole room into this one. Wifey's desk is to the left, mine's to the right. In the corner is our new Canon Pixma Pro 9000 professional photograph printer...and our annoying cat, Princess.

cats + computers = hair everywhere! I have cats and the only thing that annoys me is the hair in keyboards, scanners, etc.

P.S. Thank GOD someone has the decency to bring real guitars with them. I swear, nobody wants to play on a real string guitar anymore. It is just Guitar Hero this and Guitar Hero that.

Nice new digs, though the first pic is a bit disconcerting (head on a keyboard shelf

). What's the floor - granite tile? It looks nice but awfully shiny and slippery when wet (usually a good thing), though that's not much of a concern considering it's an office and not a natatorium.

The floor is tile but I dunno what you'd call it. The house is made entirely of concrete, as is the norm here in Puerto Rico.

Anyways...here we were almost done:

And just to gloat over our newly acquired hardware...here's a shot of the original printer we have, it's an HP Photosmart C3140 All-In-One. We bought it primarily for its built-in memory card reader, but we also needed a scanner: /printer1.jpg

Pay no mind to the wallpaper on my secondary monitor.

Note the incredible size difference...both of these desks are the exact same size, so this really shows the difference in machine sizes.

...and pay no attention to the mess on my wife's desk.
