Unhappily, it is all in French so most of you won't be able to fully enjoy this mook but I just wanted to keep you informed of this project we -Necstasy forum members- initiated some 4 years ago.

At first, we intended to it but the person in charge of the translation just quitted the project. Maybe someday...

Seriously though, it looks fantastic and I'm actually able to understand a lot more than I thought. As my french gets better (and this will be a big help in that department) I'll definitely take on the task of translating.

The pages are super glossy with really nice colours and loads and loads of info on all the NEC consoles. Toilet reading pwn.

Actually yes, back in the good old days, PC Engine games were sold in many French supermarket chains. Sodipeng, the company that imported PCE to France did a very good job.

That book looks fantastic, and I wish it could be translated into English. Of course the PC Engine Software Bible website by Paul is wonderful, but nothing beats flicking through the content of an actual magazine.

for peeps like me who had french lessons 20 years ago, its a good opportunity i guess. but for peeps who never had any french contact, i don't believe that they will catch the langauge that easy.

is it planed to be released in other languages as well? english, japanese, etc.?

I really thing it'd be more a question of months than weeks. Pix'n Love is a very productive company,and a translation of a work already done is maybe not in their priorities.
