That's one I will adjust :)

CrackTiger

Not too long ago, I bought these from a member on these boards-

Dragon Slayer Complete with Map $35
Dracula X Complete $75

Along with a few other games. He discounted the total and included shipping. His ad specified that he was looking to do package deals, so the base individual prices took that into consideration.

I also picked up this lot which included a complete TG-16, Turbo-CD set (minus the CD-ROM), Parasol Stars complete, plus several other games for $70 shipped express. On eBay the Turbo-CD case alone would ask a price like that. It's also basically DragonmasterDan's high end Parasol Stars price + the cost to ship the lot.

Even with a disclaimer like "what to expect on eBay", full price lists are still only going to inflate asking prices.
Justin the Not-So-Cheery Black/Hack/CrackTiger helped Joshua Jackass, Andrew/Arkhan Dildovich and the DildoPhiles destroy 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged/destructive/doxxing toxic turbo troll gang which he covers up for under the "community" euphemism!

maybe an ebay price list, and a pc engine price list, or just pay what you feel it is worth..

To adjust price gouging, just say all us games are worth $25...I bet people would flip out on ebay and try to sue anyone involved...

Well, and bulk deals definitely throw off amounts things go for.

The reason I'm wanting a list to be put together is quite frankly because this community has a tendency to be a bit harsh to new users trying to buy or sell things. And with a reasonably up to date guide as a point of reference to point new users to we can avoid hall of shame like incidents from occurring.

What makes you think a price list would make any difference?  People coming here to pimp ebay sales or offer us 'sweet deals' can't be bothered to look for a price list (this thread is over two years old and yet the gougers keep popping up), and they're often asking for a premium on the price lists they do know of (racketboy/digitpress/eBay) anyway.

It might not make a difference in most cases, but it at least gives us an up to date guide to point users at rather than  having them curse people out and complain we have no point of reference for complaining about gouging.

DMDan does have a point. I don't see the harm in creating an anti-gouging reference guide.

Title (Region)     FAIR PRICE (CIB, Loose)     PROFITEERING SCUMBAG PRICE (CIB, Loose)
Magical Chase (NA)     $80-120, $20-40$140, $50

I appreciate what you guys are trying to do, but those prices are pipe dreams, so why bother.
You have to be a scumbag to sell a CIB Magical Chase for $140? Let's get real here.

The prices I put in there were for comedic effect :). It was safer to do that than to try to determine a fair price all by myself, since I would like to form a loose consensus on what was "fair".

Any subjective price is a fair price, but who would sell their copy of USA magical chase for that pathetic price.
No one!

I'd sell mine for what I bought it for-- $165.

Oh, wait, already did that. And then the scumbag threw it up on eBay a few months later for like $700.

I would sell it for cheap if i got my hands on another copy... cause gaming for me has always been about the playing, collecting and the people, its my happy spot and the day you start seeing big dollar signs in front of it its time to get the f@ck out.

F*ck no. When did this happen? I suppose I wouldn't have had enough cash at the time you were selling this, nat, but F*CK.

And I use f*ck sparingly.

I think this is understood.  Your last twenty-three posts have all either mentioned Magical Chase or been posted in Magical-Chase-related threads.

Hahahahahhaaha. :)  I thought you would have written me a letter about the game's availability, thrown it in a mailbox, and waited for my response.

I wonder why this thread was never made a sticky? It's actually a pretty good reference for starting points on prices.

Wasn't it?  I think it was destickied for being out of date (and a bad idea in many members' opinions).

It would certainly stop all these posts asking what its worth. I'm flabbergasted on how much stuff has gone up though in the past 3 years that this was started... If I only knew about this site 10 years ago I would have bought a heck of a lot more games instead of being lame and burning them to cd (ahh memories rigg vs squaresoft74 rips).
