hey everybody! i decided to get a PC-FX 

and i got a brand new one too! i'm very excited. bought it from a great seller on ebay who i've dealt with before. he's a real good guy and helps you out. here's my new PC-FX: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290327639697

so i got a brand new system for $245 (before shipping). i think it's probably a good deal since finding a new one is difficult. i can be sure it hasn't been beat up or whatever else. i take very good care of my game stuff so this won't be any different.

now i need some games! 

can anyone give me a good place to shop online for PC-FX games? Risingstuff is one that has been mentioned before. any others?

Oof!  That's steep; sexy, but steep.  Congrats on the purchase. 

Though I can't vouch for them (I've never bought from any of 'em), a few of the stores listed in Big Money's thread carry PC-FX goodies in addition to PCE/TG-16 stuff.

Ouch indeed.  As the box wasn't factory sealed honestly you have no REAL idea if this is BRAND NEW, or their damn good at resealing the system.  I hope it's new, and def congrats ..always cool to get that "really want" item.

well the only reason i trusted the seller as selling a genuinely new article is because i've bought from him before. he's given me generous deals outside of ebay (giving me a list of what he was going to put up for sale before they went up for auction). i also bought a new neo geo cdz from him at one time. he's sort of a collector himself.

but in a way, you're absolutely right. is there anything i can check to verify once i get the system that it is brand new?

i might be interested if it's cheap and mostly scratch-free! i just spent a lot of money, so i dont think i should spend a whole lot more at this point  . i must ration out my selfish gift-givings. could you pm a price and condition?

when my pc fx came, I watched the Yuna opening video about 50 times before even playing the thing.  It was a glorious "This system shouldve succeeded more" feeling.

I bought one in the middle of July, (Have been waiting for my membership to clear since) and it's my first PC whatever type console that I've owned (Though I'm familiar with the Turbographx and it's software). Got mine for 130 in box, used. I only have the one game so far but I'm gearing up to try for a full Collection of this console. It's so very exciting.
