@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

There was a best game of 1992 thread here, but it's full of CD-ROM titles obviously. By this point, hu-cards were well on the way out, but I like 'em, so I'm asking others what they think the best game on the hu-card format was in that year. Wouldn't Photo Boy get it on originality alone?
You've got to feel the thrill... of disgust!
The beauty... of obscenity!

Arkhan Asylum

Thats a tough one.

between neutopia II, Tatsujin, Parodius, and Order of the Griffon....and what, Air Zonk, too? :)

I'd have to give it up to Order of the Griffon because of the amount of detail the game has, and it being the only HuCard RPG that stands toe to toe with the CD rom ones like Wizardry, and M&M.

the view/detail of Order of the griffon, is extremely kickass.

Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together... Both times he blamed the Aarons in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

Somer Assault was fairly original as well... what other game do you get to play as a slinky and shoot enemies and the bosses are zodiac based...

I really liked Neutopia 2 and Coryoon personally... same with Dragon Egg... but seriously... there really were a lot of really good pce/tg16 hucards...
There are only 2 races on this planet... the Intelligent and the Stupid...

Arkhan Asylum

OOO, yeah Coryoon might be the best one.  :D

Not going to bother to look what else came out that year but this surely must be the correct answer.

I honestly preferred Somer Assault.

Arkhan Asylum

Man I loved somerassault til the last boss.  That was one annoyingly boring end.

Somer Assault doesn't count, for this is the PCE sub-forum and Mesopotamia came out in '91.  :P
