Did you guys know this? And Nintendo owns like 1-2%share wise

DragonmasterDan

Yeah, Konami invested in them a few years ago, that's why Konami had first right or refusal on a lot of games (as previously discussed they were to publish Tengai Makyou 3 at one point and publised Ys 6)

i'm guessing sometime around 2007 or 2008, although i might be wrong lol. nostalgia sells pretty well these days. i mean, look at all the hasbeen actors getting 20 mil to star in some blockbuster movie.

Atlus doesn't MAKE Bomberman games, they publish them (well they published Bomberman World and Bomberman Fantasy Race for PSone, Vatical published Bomberman Party Edition for PSone). Hudson no longer has a US office, as a result their games are published by other companies in the US (example Bomberman for Nintendo DS being published by Ubisoft, Bomberman Generations for Game Cube was published by Majesco and so on). Hudson still makes the games regardless of who publishes them in North America :)

On a side note since you brought them up, most of the games published by Atlus US are licensed from other Japanese companies, there is an Atlus of Japan but Atlus's US office rarely publishes their games (example Growlanser 2 and 3 were published by Working Designs here), Atlus is a somewhat unusual company in that respect.
