Yep 1-3 were all for the DS.

First person dungeon crawlers...old school difficulty (not impossible, but not cake walks), STELLAR music.  Honestly some of my fave games for the system.

I tried to get into the Etrian Odyssey games, but, as old school as I am, they just didn't do it for me, so I sold em' off.  So far, the only games that interest me for 3DS to this day, are Super Mario 3D Land & Cave Story.  So, I haven't had a real strong reason to buy one yet.  I'm waiting to see if they eventualy make one with a built in 2nd analog stick, so that I don't have to buy an extra accessory.

Cave Story 3DS is awesome, A game i highly recommend picking up along with Super Mario 3D. Mario seems short but its not by a long shot.

I have the Circle Pad Pro and it does feel much better in my hands (Not as cramped) I will be the 1st 1 to admit smaller is not always better with hand helds. but for $20 its not a terrible add on.

Yes this is true, Also blocks the stylus ports. Not really that big of a deal breaker tho.

Picked up a 3DS xl recently. I have Layton, Shinobi, and SF4. Have you guys had any luck with streetpass? I've been carrying mine around with me and I've only gotten 2 tags, and those were at used video game stores.

Usually if I go to the mall I will get about 5 passes, 2-3 from the stores and 2-3 from people.

I go to the Fan Expo in Toronto in August.  There I had over 200 street passes.

It's hit or miss for me. Usually miss. Like you said: every time I go to a game store I get one. But beyond that, it's few and far between. But I do get a street pass every day...from my son who has a 3DSXL.

I struck out on my last 3 trips to game stores- I'll have to try the mall. Then again, going to the mall just to try to get street-passes might not be something that I'm ready to do.

ah I not had the chance to take mine out for street pass stuff.. hopefully when AC.Jump out comes out I will have more time to take it out and play.   Right now I love the 3DS XL but I find it a little too big to take out and play on public transport.  Mostly catching up with DS games like DQ IX

What is the point of street pass? Don't really get it but maybe that is because I rarely get them.

I love the fire emblem series I was thinking of upgrading to 3ds to get the newer one.  It looks cool.  I was playing sacred stones eairler today on the beat up Advanced.

Gunman Clive for $1.99 is a killer eShop value, awesome platformer but with the ability to shoot is really cool. The mine cart level is on par with Donkey Kong Country (although a little more simple).
