Hey everyone, I'm planning on getting a DS Lite for my wife, but I have no idea what games to get pre loaded...

Any recommendations for any games related to PC-Engine titles, classic game series, or 2D shooters?

Arkhan Asylum

Rainbow Islands Revolution = <3

Bubble Bobble is broken though so dont get that......

and how about Contra 4, and any of the Castlevania's for it?

:)

and Metal Slug VII comes out in like a month.
This "max-level forum psycho" () destroyed TWO PC Engine groups in rage: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook "Because Chris 'Shadowland' Runyon!," then the other by Aaron Nanto "Because Le NightWolve!" Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together... Both times he blamed the Aarons in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

Ninja Spirit

Aside from Manji Maru, does the new Dungeon Explorer count?

thenew DE doesn't count becuse:
1. It's complete ass (both versions)
2. Is DE in name alone ;)

While not technically related to anything NEC, the new Squaresoft Legend of Kage 2 plays exactly like you'd expect a modern remake of Ninja Spirit to play. You even have the shadow-self that follows you, just like in Ninja Spirit. It's an awesome game, and only twenty bucks. Multiple characters and unlockable difficulty levels too.

Plus, all three of the Castlevanias are fantastic. Really fantastic.

Y's Book I&II is coming out for the DS, with revamped graphics and music.  There is a link around here somewhere about it, I'll probably get it!
