Hi Chris,

Just watched some of your videos for the first time this week.  Well made and informative, especially the video about the Super System Card.  Keep up the good work!

Always loved neon light...especially on kitschy mom and pop motels!  Another era!   :)

If you have a Wii or even Wii U, the game costs only $9 on the Wii Virtual Console.

If you don't want to go through the hassle of emulation, there is a "PC Port" here on this very forum. Credits to who made this.

Thanks for the suggestions!  I do have a Wii U, but I may have to check out the "PC Port."  Thanks for the link!

As an aside, could the TV Tuner even be hooked up to digital converter box???  Not that you would want to do it, but is it feasible?

Good memories of my TE tuner...watched the Chicago White Sox win the World Series in 2005 while at work all because of that thing!

I having the same problem, Mas.  The "right" on the d-pad won't respond, but "up," "down," and "left" will.  What did you use to clean your controller?  I am a newb to opening electronics up, so any suggestions no matter how "common sense" they are would be appreciated.   :-"

Welcome, Chem! I am new here as well too...posted my intro under that thread in the Suggestions/Comments sub-forum.  I really should check out KLOV, as I haven't been over there in years.  Anyway, look forward to chatting with you.

Thanks for the Cincinnati suggestions, CPTBadAss!  I have been to GameSwap at Florence Mall and they are a fun store, though some times over priced.  I have yet to go to Arcade Legacy since it is such a hike from my Old Kentucky Home, but I will have to check them out soon!

My turn!  I actually followed 108 Stars over here from AtariAge's TG16 thread.  Someone on the thread suggested people come here to learn more about PCE/Turbo, as this site does for the TG16/PCE community what AtariAge does for the Atari community!

Anyway, a little about my NEC experiences (copy and pasted from my post on the TG16 topic over at AtariAge):

I first played a TG16 back in the early 90's at my buddy's place...his dad was a heart surgeon, and his parents were divorced, so his dad spoiled him with anything he wanted.  He had a Neo Geo AES almost immediately after its initial release in North America.  Anyway, I went over to his house to play all these video game systems he had...we constantly played Neo Geo and Sega CD, but I knew he had a TG16.  I kept bugging him about playing it, since I had never played one.  He was already bored of it and did not want to show me...after about 6 months of begging, he finally relented and we played Bonk's Adventure for 10 minutes.  I was hooked, but I didn't get my own TG16 and Turbo CD until 2005.  After about a year of having it set up, I moved to multiple locations throughout the years and had it in storage until about a month ago.  I hooked it up to one of our TVs with the RF adaptor and it looks great!

Currently, my Turbo CD appears to be non functional, and I am hoping to glean info here on how to fix it.  Besides that, I look forward to joining the vibrant TG16 community that I have obviously found here!  Looking forward to chatting with you guys!   =;
