I have for sale a fully working PC Engine Shuttle (J - NTSC) in superb condition.

Comes complete with Shuttle controller, original NEC PSU (UK Buyers will need to provide their own step down transformer), and original A/V Lead.

Included with the system is R-Type, Cyber Knight & Mahjong tile game to get you going straight out of the box.

Happy to ship to UK & Europe only, I will accept PayPal Gift or personal cheque (uk bidders only). Goods will be shipped within 24hs of cleared payment along with a tracking reference where applicable.

Dear TheSteve,

I need some HELP.... I recently managed to bag, both a PC Engine LT and GT via Easy Auction Japan Proxy service, bought both in good faith they are working and completely gutted they both have issues:

• PC GT - Switches on, but no picture, but plays sound which is loud.
• PC LT - Switches on, green LED on the front lights up, but no picture and no sound

I have done basic troubleshooting, i.e. tested the psu's and they both produce the correct voltages, both units look in great condition, screens are free from scratches and do not appear to be molested.

Reading through the posts, it sounds like they both need to be re-capped by however I do not have the skill set to attempt myself and looking for a reliable person to bring these devices back to life.

Happy to pay the going rate for a repair, after reading many posts / forum messages, everyone points to your good self to do an excellent repair.

Would you be interested in taking on my repair? Not in a rush and happy to post anywhere.

The super grafx slightly beat up, but greeaaatttt buy. If they were all cleaned up and you got a couple of original controllers you could sell for a very good price.

I would highly recommend the xrgb-mini great box, slightly expensive though.

I don't understand the keenness for Composite , just use a RGB mod and get a far superior video output - end of story.

Coryoon is crazy expensive, One option you should consider is try buying direct from Japan Auction scene, using sites like easyauctionjapan, shoppingmalljapan, etc.

This might give you a slight price benefit but still savage none the less.

I agree with Necro.
If you're a complete beginner get a Core Grafx I or II, explore the HuCard library first.
In fact probably even a better idea to get a Turbo EverDrive with the Core Grafx, then you can test out the entire HuCard library and then buy the games you like.

This is the plan! Personally speaking, I'm firmly in the camp of 'original hardware + roms' rather than putting my original software into shady Chinese hardware running ripped off emulators.

I love original hardware and cards, if people don't look after the hardware in another 10 years it will be all gone, broken and thrown out. Original Hardware was part of me as I grew up and something I wish to keep for the future.
