How in the hell do i get out of those bonus stages? The ones where it loops around and theres gumball machines and cats throwing large strawberries at you? I've gotten out of them before but i dunno how. I played one today and couldnt get out at all. Thanks for any help.

Super Bonk is def more of a slower adventure than the PC Engine ones, it's a bit more of a kitchen sink kind of game. I think it blows Super Mario World out of the water in fun factor,variety,looks,sounds,etc.. I think non-Turboheads probably appreciate it alot more on average.

I love all Bonk games,and the first Super Bonk is my favorite closely followed by Bonk 3. I guess I prefer the maligned ones...they're both a little crazier than the avg Bonk and I guess that's why they're my favs (and I love Big Bonk).

Listening to some late 80's and early 90's Namco games blows me away. You hear the soundtrack quality (both the sound and songs themselves) to Ordyne, Legend of Valkyrie, Dragon Sabre? Almost sounds CD quality (in fact, it has more personality). Other companies around the same time seem to have a tinnier sound..like Sega Genesis type.

Plump Pop is nearly unplayable (at least with a pad)...the piggie thing (ie the ball) always hits something and falls way too fast on a screen that should be more vertical and narrow like Arkanoid.

Taito does indeed rock. They blessed us recently with some of the very best classic compilations of all time. The 4 Taito Memories packs are so damn awesome I felt like I should've paid double for them! Thunder Fox is fantastic. I love the whole over-the-top one bad mofo with a knife going against hundreds of soliders,tanks, and robots. It's like they ripped the storyline right of the headlines

OOps hope u didnt get in trouble! I dled the music, just can't get any player that plays it. Windows Media,Realplayer and Quicktime don't work.

Yeah shipping was 15 bones. The guy put the header "Turbo Grafx16" for his auction and a buy-it-now so I snapped it up before someone else could. I got it in the mail today, and it works lovely..I haven't tried out the save thingy. How is it accessed?

Damn I just noticed..whoops! I paid $40 for it all. I used a Genny AC every time for my Turbo and it worked fine, just wondering if it's healthy to do so.

On ebay, came with the tg-16, 2 controllers, rf unit (into the garbage), 3 games (i didn't have neutopia) and a TURBO BOOSTER PLUS! Usually they go pretty expensive I've heard, so did I make out ok?

PS- Didn't come with an AC adaptor, but I just use my Sega Genesis one..or will that f up my Turbo?
PPS- I've had a turbo for like 10 years, but I got it in shit shape..figured an upgrade wouldn't hurt

I appreciate the suggestions. I just find it odd that the more I wiped the laser lens (and disc) that all of the audio problems went away EXCEPT level 3's tune. None of my other Super CD ROM games seem to have any audio problems either. Odd. Do you think compressed air on the laser (without opening the system) would help any or is that a no no?

Hello, I'm new here and I have a question. I have a PC Engine Duo-R and have had no problems with it, but recently I've had some odd problems with the sound on my newly purchased Double Dragon 2 Super CDRom. Here's the runthrough

1. Audio silent on end of first level cinema and on the 2nd level tune (after about a minute)
...I wiped down the CD and blew in my system a lil bit. 2nd level tune plays perfect now, but cinema end of 1 and 2 still have no sound. Also, level 3 tune cuts off every time after a minute or so.
2. That was a few days ago, today I take a clean shirt and rub on the laser a lil and blow in the system again (yeah I know, prolly stupid to do). For the first time both cinemas have audio but level 3 still cuts off after a minute.

So yeah all of the audio seems fine now except level 3's tune. It's really annoying! All of the other music works fine and even level 3's tune works fine when listening to it on a cd player. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I put down 75 bones for the game!
