Quote from: Joe Redifer on 01/13/2010, 08:41 PMReally?  I've only played around 30 hours and I've beaten the game!  What have you been doing, letting your character stand in the Nexus overnight?  :)

The Spider is easy.  The boss after that... the Flamelurker... that can be a challenge (but can also be really easy.

Here, this page might help:

i was looking at an rgb mod for this and it just neede a wire to be made with din connec. on one end, and scart on the other, av cable was thrown in ther also, it plugged into the genesis audio jack. can this be done by hooking up an rgb and av to the 8 pin din connecter and still have the same results? thanks

i want to begin with the 2 yr. to get out of my field and into electronics. hopefully this will make it somewhat easier to finish school, maybe get some "assistance" ,   some places do tuition reimbursement, prob not too many though. with the economy being soo shitty, pool jobs might not be around , don't know if i have 4 years .

does anyone know if there's supposed to be a component in spot j801? it's pretty easy to spot on the board... does this affect turbo and 6 button functions if missing?  because i'm missing it and can't use these functions through the tap. thanks

right on, thanks  i think i have a v 2...
#30
yeah...that missing component is the only thing i see wrong...if someone has a turbo tap they can open, let me know if there is anything in j801... or not. thanks
#31
ok i looked at the board, and everything seems nice n tight...except for component j801,  i don't even know if anything is supposed to go there but it's soldered at the back of the board which makes it look so.

Quote from: Bigdog302 on 11/16/2008, 12:15 AMdoes it act the same way with any game or this one in particular? a poor contact on the hu card can also cause this or it is possible as well as the joystick port.might try any other controller than the one you have.these are the only ideas i have.one other thing, are you using a multi tap or single controller.my turbo tap has worn contatcts and it behaves this way until i jimmy the plugs a bit.
i just got a new sealed turbo tap and when i use it with the 6 button duo pad, the turbo buttons and 6 button function don't work... i haven't opened it yet ...compatability issue?

Quote from: ccovell on 12/08/2008, 12:18 PMYeah, I really ought to do some caps from the SMS and MD just to show how shitty composite is on those systems...   :-&

i got a memory unit for the duo...it's black and takes 4 AA batteries. i don't even know if it works...i'm having problems using the duo rx controller with either it or the turbo tap... depending on what's hooked up first the controller won't work or the turbo buttons won't...bruce lee game is rad

Are you talking about the PCE version?  I haven't picked it up yet, but you should be able to follow a faq for the SNES version.  Here's an excerpt concerning warp magic from gamefaqs:

QuoteThere seems to be a secret in Area 1 where you find the Master Keys.  Once you get them, move up once and examine the floor ahead.  Look odd right?  Use a Steel Ball to show a pit.  Jump into the pit, don't walk in it and you will take yourself to the rest of Area 1's Basement, where you find the Sound Room and a Warp Magic.  The Warp Magic is a must have so find it before you leave Ruins Basement Floor or you'll regret it very much!
yeah, i'm still trying to find it....really boring though

Quote from: TH0R on 12/01/2008, 10:41 PMstreet fighter for pce... :-k are there supposed to be two games in this double case?
Yes; the other side is supposed to contain a copy of Dracula X: Special Version.  :D

Seriously though, no.  The extra space was to provide adequate room for the hump in the HuCard and the thick(ish) manual; the same was done with Populous.  I imagine it was also for marketing purposes, since the immense awesomeness and gigantic 20mb HuCard couldn't possibly have been contained in a mere single sized case.
that dracula's soo expensive....is there a u.s version

i've opened it up and DAMN...that's why i didn't want to try it myself...there's a ribbon from the bottom of the card slot going to the pcb board...see some black wiring taped together separate from this but still looks connected... how can i upload some pictures, i've had problems with size being too large
#48
got a region modded pce withe the cd unit and the interface, us hucards work, but nothing jp works, the mod is done with a white push button and the jp games just throw up a white screen

oh ok, i understand, i wasnt getting the surface hot enough. those videos are cool too i'm sure they'll be helpful

hmmm... first runs kinda sloppy, was pratice...seems that the solder sticks to the tip of my iron and doesn't drip off too well, didn't really like touching the board with the iron cause i could see condensation forming on it. how should this be done? using a 25 w iron...maybe the tip is too big or not getting hot enough?
