I guess most of the items here are reasonably light but some are the more bulky box type original versions and multiples of more lighter items will add up. They hopefully won't be too large dimensions wise but again the amount will have more of an influence on that. However the shipping even abroad maybe possible. Pretty cool that and sounds like Japan although I have never been there and don't know very much at all about Japanese culture both old and new. Good stuff either way and very original from what I've seen or haven't ever seen should I say. I do suspect the culture both old and new is very different to others and not much I would possibly understand. I reckon in every culture you get good and bad stuff, you just gotta get more of the good stuff if you can.

Anything would be cool and well appreciated. I'll add what other games I have for sale and also the Takeru versions as soon as I can.

Hi I've acquired a few X68K games and was trying to see about how much they were worth approximately. Whatever games I had I would be looking for ok prices, not too high prices but not too low ones either. I've checked Ebay and the net but as you may expect not a lot always comes up with stuff like this. I hear Yahoo auctions Japan does some X68K stuff but I guess I can't read or write Japanese.

The games I have are mostly Hentai RPG games and normal RPG ones.

Hi wasn't the Core Grafx 1 pad the same as the one that came with the Supergrafx? Anyone correct me if I'm wrong. I searched and they looked very similar. There maybe technical differences but stuff like codes, numbers on the outer case etc. It looked more similar than the pad that came with the original Duo which is more of a purple colour I think where the blue is.

I'm based in the Uk. Shipping within the Uk isn't very much for this. I could also ship abroad but I'm not sure if the shipping would make it worth it. I guess the item is quite light but the size dimensions could be the problem here. Even though I would provide protection when I ship this item is of higher risk here concerning damage even though the poly inserts would provide some stability. However if I had another box of the right size and not too big, it could go in there and this issue would be solved and hopefully without adding to the shipping cost too much. I could perhaps look into this further if anyone from abroad was interested.

Hi I have a Pc Engine Duo-R for sale. It's in good condition.

It's from my own collection and has been stored in my house in a protected place and with plenty of protection as well as being in both a pet and smoke free environment.

The Pc Engine Duo-R comes complete with the original Nec power supply and also AV leads as well as the original Duo-R controller. It's all been tested and works fine.

The Duo-R hasn't had that much use as I mainly used one of my other cd systems to play game cds.

I will post a picture here tomorrow when there's daylight in order to get a picture with natural light. That's if I can post a picture, I haven't done it on here before. If you can I will do it.

The Duo-R itself hasn't any yellowing on the console which can sometimes happen to lighter coloured consoles. However the Duo-R lighter coloured controller has some yellowing. This can be removed though with links on this forum and on the PcEngineFX forum as well I think. The controller though still has the protection sticker on it though on the front on the light blue part.

£100 + 4% Paypal fees. I hear the fee can also be paid if the buyer sends the payment as a 'gift'.

+ £10 shipping in the Uk.

If the item is shipped plenty of protection will be used as well as insurance.

Hi I thought I'd clean the insides of these units. Is it just like the cleaning of the inside of a PC i.e getting it open and giving it a blow out to get all the dust etc removed? I know there are air dusters but I don't see them as being essential especially for the price of them, how they can get blocked and how long they last from what I can remember. I know PCs are generally easier to get into regarding screw types but I think I've got the right tools to get them all open.

I was also thinking of maybe giving the case + controller of my Duo-r a clean, although it isn't too bad esp for its age. It does have a lightly coloured case though and can become yellowed I hear. I think that can also happen to Snes, Nes etc. I could have a go but I don't want to scratch or ruin anything.

Any advice on this would be excellent and really appreciated.

Although I wasn't too sure about my need for a good temperature controlled soldering station at first, I think I may have to bite the bullet and consider getting one with perhaps some other good extras equipment wise. I heard the Hakko 936 and the Weller Wes51 were good.

I did some research equipment wise. In terms of these soldering stations I think the closest place for these types of things is USA I think. I'm in the Uk. There are some over here but I don't know how good they are.

I'd be starting with fairly basic mods and then building up. This equipment may appear to be overkill perhaps at first but it could serve me in the future if I get to more difficult mods and the equipment if hopefully better may make my learning less painful.

I don't even know for 100% if you get an actual soldering iron with a soldering station. I think you do.

Hi I'm sorry for the late reply. Yes I do sometimes search in forums and it's a good tool. I did actually check your link to the repair guide before I posted. I saw it explained which caps to fix for some video issues I think, I just wasn't sure if there were specific fixes for a specific video problem. The guide was excellent though and you and people like you who make the guides to help people deserve far more credit than you may get. My thanks again. From what I remember and the quick view of the guide I just did, I may have to perhaps replace a lot / all of the relevant caps to hopefully solve my particular video issue. I guess specific caps to replace can be good as it's less work and therefore less chance for error but at the sametime replacing them all without breaking the thing could be a good future investment for any possible future work and for your playing pleasure.

Both are loose without the box or manual but are in good condition. They've also both been tested and work fine.

I'm based in the Uk. However I can ship abroad if anyone was interested but the shipping will be a bit more. However I will do it at cost price shipping and as cheaply as possible. I have shipped games like this to the USA and because the items are quite small and light for complete boxed games let alone loose ones, the shipping cost for each game is quite low. Hi I have a Pc Engine GT and all seems ok apart from that when you switch the GT on it takes a little bit for the screen to brighten up enough to be able to see it. I think this could be down to a faulty capacitor or component inside the unit.

Anything would be cool.

Hi I opened up a Grey Super Cd Rom 2 unit but couldn't see any clear way to get to the the lens / drive mechanism to replace it. I saw a vid on Youtube but I think it was for the briefcase Cd Rom 2.

R-Type - boxed but no manual but in good condition. $8

Chase HQ - Complete in good condition apart from the manual which is in bad condition. $8

Vigilante - loose with soft plastic case but in good condition. $5

The Kung Fu / China Warrior? - loose with soft plastic case but in good condition. $5

All games have been tested and work fine. Postage will be done as cheaply as possible at cost and the games will be protected.
