12/23/2024: Localization News - Team Innocent

PC-FX Localization for Team Innocent is released, a pre-Christmas gift!! In a twist, it feels like the NEC PC-FX got more attention in 2024 than any other time I can remember! Caveat: The localizers consider the "v0.9" patch a BETA as it still faces technical hurdles to eventually subtitle the FMV scenes, but they consider it very much playable.

Wow, didn't expect to see something like this!

The set looks awesome so far, and the plans for a live-broadcast style show are great.

Can't wait to see everything in action!

In light of the recent TG-CD on Wii VC announcement, I'd love to see you review Cho Aniki!

I don't know if you've ever thought of this, but it's sort of a spinoff of your recent Turbo Memoirs feature.  I'd really enjoy watching some footage of TG hardware and software.  Shots of the actual systems, maybe what they look/sound like when they boot up, controllers, some shots of the game packaging, manuals, and disks.  Just a thought.

Can't wait for ep 8!
Sorry, production has been very slow due to other priorities, but in light of the recent virtual console announcement I'm going to try to step things up.

As far as a TG hardware/software is concerned - this is exactly what I had in mind for this episode (showing off the hardware, going over the features, games, etc) so expect something like this in the upcoming episode.
Looking forward to it!

Just found out that you were behind the TZD redesign, and I must say that you did an awesome job!  It's an absolute joy to navigate it now.

This brings up another feature/request that I'd love to see.  Your interview with TZD from 2001 is great, but is there any chance of getting a photo/video tour of the TZD warehouse and headquarters?  I've always wanted to know what a stack of 500 copies of Power Golf looks like.   :D

I need to find my post way back hinting to everyone about this since I knew that it was in the works for a while...
Do you know anything about the way they are implementing it?  There are concerns over the Wii's limited storage space, so I'm very curious to see how they circumvented this.

If they separated the music tracks and compressed them, then each CD game could come in at 10-20 meg apiece, which isn't bad at all.

I don't know what your thoughts are about this, but you could edit each of the reviews out into standalone clips, and then shop them around to the various major gaming blogs (Joystiq/Kotaku/GoNintendo).  I've already linked somebody who was asking for info on Battle Loadrunner.  I doubt you'll find many other video reviews of that, or any of the other games you've reviewed.  You've got some primo orginal content in the archives of PCETV, which should definately be made more accessible to the masses.

More people need to know about this great site!  Especially with the TG16 being reintroduced to everybody via the Wii.

Love the commercial idea, and there's tons of NEC commercials to keep it going in future episodes.  The reviews were great and spot on.  As always, the production values are astounding.

Keep up the good work!

Woohoo!   :D

Nice surprise for the weekend.

Hope to see a new episode soon!

While I love PCEFXTV in its current form (and I hope it continues in the same fashion), how about short weekly video reviews of the TG16 Wii releases for that week?  Maybe this wouldn't necessarily fall under the PCEFXTV label, but it might be a nice addition to the site.

1. You can use the Wii Remote, Wii Classic Controller, or Gamecube controller.  The last two work with all games, and the Wii Remote only works with certain games (it works with all TG16 games).

2. No, completely new ones.

3. No, but most are.  Rayman for example, is not.

4. Yes, this is the prefered method of saving.  You can copy/move saves onto an SD card, but I'm not sure if you can even load games directly from the SD card or not.  Most saving is done directly to the Wii's built-in memory.

5. See above, but in order to play VC games, they must be moved to the internal memory.  You can store games on SD cards, but they can't be loaded from there.

6. No, but it comes with 512 meg of internal memory (all you should need).

7. Yes, the Wii Remote requires 2 AA batteries, which are included with the system.

Just got the new issue of EGM, and there's a big 2-page advertisement showing off Hudson's new mobile games (TG16 ports).  Much to my surprise, there's a big TG16 controller in the ad!

Nice to see some official TG16 gear in a magazine again.  Brought me back to the early 90s.

Quote from: Joe RediferHere ya go!!
I tried to upload it to Youtube, but they have some retarded 10-minute limit.  Assholes.

Anyway I am able to upload this QUICKTIME version.  You don't have Quicktime?  TOO BAD!  It should work with Quicktime 6, but you might need Quicktime 7 to hear the sound.
This was EXCELLENT!  Thanks very much for going through the effort.

Are there any other promo tapes known to exist?  OP, is this the same one you had?

I love stuff like this.

Quote from: PcenginefxFYI, I just released the E3 special edition of PcenginefxTV...check it out!
As always, it was awesome.  You can always count on me to download and enjoy your fine programs.

It's almost too good to be true!

Congrats!

YEAH!

I can't wait to see it, and so soon after ep 5!  Quite a nice surprise.

Keep 'em coming!

UPDATE:  Yep you are right...no sound using WMP10....re-encoding now and will update here when the new file is ready.
Thanks very much.  I'm watching the quicktime version now, and it's awesome.  Please, don't let this be the last episode.  I watch 1-4 all the time, and now 5 will be added into the rotation.

What's the song playing when "Turbo Goods" is displayed?

Edit: and what's the credits song?

Edit 2: Heh, they're all listed in the credits.

YES!

But...I downloaded the .wmv version, and am playing it on WMP10, and there's no sound.

I have the case/manual/map, all I need is the disk.  Do you have one that you'd let go for a decent price?

Post here and PM me a price.

Thanks!

Quote from: KeranuWell PC Engine FX TV is my favorite feature on your site and it's always a real treat just to get a new episode, so I can patiently wait :) .
Same.  I'd rather have it twice a year than not at all.  I hope that you continue to do episodes for as long as this site is up, even if they prove to be infrequent.  Good stuff!
#22
I've been watching all 4 shows all week.  They're so good!

Any upadates  :D ?

Awww!  Well TurboTV was worth it, but I'll be checking the site daily for news on ep5!  Thanks for the update Aaron!

I'd really like to see an archive of all the available NEC commercials that are available.  USA/JP, TG-16/DUO, everything there is.

I absolutely LOVE PCFXTV!  I was thrilled when this site came back online, and even more extatic that there is a new episode.  Please, keep up the good work!
