i notice recently that my pc engine duo-r take longer to load with a cd game. I'm using only originals cd.
by example, Ys IV, when looking at a cinematic, at the end there a black screen and the opening sequence is suppose to play but it take like 20 seconds to load. i don't remember it been that slow. anyone can tell me if there is a problem or it's just me?

OH MY GOD!!! you are so awesome lol.

i checked one more time in the manual of the pc-fx GA and i found something saying about floppy and C drive(the second floppy drive on the pc98). I put a floppy in this drive, format and go in the pc-fx menu, go to memory manager and a new option is available(don't know what it is) i click on it and then some files has bee copied to my floppy. Et voila!!

My floppy disk is now a memory card.
I already try this in the past but only in the first floppy drive and it didn't work. I just can't understand why you really have to put it on the secondary floppy drive.

I have some problem with my pc-fx ga for pc98.

A lot of problem i can't play because it asking for a "memory card". So i don't know what to do. Id there something im missing? i can't save games because i don't have a "memory card" in my pc-98.

before i chnage the laser, i could not read any disc. thats why i chnage it. but i think the laser i buy is defect. cause everything seem to work at the execption of the laser that not moving when i press run. the cd and the busy red light open but it stuck on the boot screen

ok i resolder the wire in the plug, then i test it. it not give me anymore a strange beep. now the light busy stay on and the cd turn. but it stuck at just a moment...

is it again the laser or something else?

ah ok, i found the problem, a wire on the white plug is remove. is they anyway a can get a new one?

hi, i replace the laser in my pc engine and now when i press run it do a little sound then nothing. and on the screen it stay at the waiting.

someone can help me?
