Some people just come over here to leech over the community by asking for R@R3s and asking for price checks so they can acquire their warez at rock bottom prices without contributing anything of value to this community. They say they are fans of the system, but their collectard attitudes say otherwise; displaying their games as trophies rather than actually playing the games. We can definitely do without those types of people. No disrespect is meant to the OP as he has participated in other areas of the forum.

After two years of waiting I had almost given up on it, so when one fair auction showed up I decided I would be willing to go as high as 600, which was what I paid for the PS3 back in the day.

This should be my last decadently expensive hardware purchase unless I suddenly grow fond of the Neo Geo library, which is not likely.

$600?, no offense dude but that's $300 more than what I would have spent, especially since it didn't come with the original power supply and given the propensity of the capacitors going bad. Nice lookin system though..

The HU-card itself isnt a concern, but the box is fragile as crap. All of my decent NES games are in box protectors.

I sold every other game in that bundle for the value I had in mind. I don't see any reason why Soldier Blade won't sell for at least $300. It's strictly a collector's piece, as you can purchase the game on the Wii for a couple dollars.

So this "powerupvideogames" outfit has shown up and absolutely carpet-bombed Ebay in all sorts of wonderful TurboGrafx stuff: used, new, complete, common, rare, tons of stuff.
But, most of their prices completely suck, and their "Best Offer" option is a joke. I've already made 3 reasonable offers on some items, and each one of them was shot down, without even so much as a counter-offer. It's a real shame when the fun stuff falls into the wrong hands.

OK, here's the deal. I just purchased some stupidly expensive stuff from powerupvideogames. The email address is raregamergirl@[removed for now]. Apparently raregamergirl has an extensive negative history. See here and my favorite here. My stuff hasn't arrived yet, but I'm now very worried. Let's just say I'll be out a shit ton of money if she is a scam artist and I won't be happy. I do have a tracking # for at least one of the items I ordered. I'll keep you all posted when/if the games arrive. She does have 7 negative feed backs in the past month, that's not good.

I don't like the idea of making pressed copies of these US releases, in particular Dynastic Hero. The PCE counterparts of these games are cheap and it is not necessary to know english to get through these games. Not to mention you can play the Genesis version in english as well. If you can get through Bikkurimanworld without know Japanese, you can definitely finish Dynastic Hero as well.

I agree that a J-RPG such as Ys IV would be the best route to take, just as so many of us have voiced out since it is not one of the choices. Having just the text is good enough for me. But out of the voting choices, my vote goes to Space Fantasy Zone since it never got an official release.
