Bithead is funny as hell. I just don't get why he always sells off his collection and starts again. Then again, his living for the hunt goes above and beyond.

Bought Bloodborne, Axiom Verge and Shovel Knight for PS4. I have been on a Demon's/Dark Souls kick and figured I should get Bloodborne. These games are amazing. Axiom Verge is a must if you like Metroid games. Shovel Knight feels like a legit AAA NES title with the colors of a TG-16 and parallaxing of a Genesis. The music is beyond phenomenal. This is the best indie game I have ever played and I thought Axiom Verge was the best until I played this, lol.

Corrosion everywhere on those solder connections and traces. Might as well de-solder everything on the PCB, cleanup those areas and check for eaten through traces. Also, might be a good idea to get your video and audio from the source instead of the expansion pin-out. You can always send your system off to someone here in the tech/mod discussion forum and it should be no more than a $10-15 mod plus shipping since the jacks are already in place.

I would go ahead and S-video mod it while you are at it. Ends up looking 3x better with the newer S-video mod, but it will cost you maybe $30 more.

Edit: It looks like some repairs where done with that mess on the bottom left. I would just send it off to someone to take a look at it right away.

I especially like Dungeon Explorer as well!!! Tatsujin is nice as well... if only I could get past stage 2.... awww man!!! I also really like Dragon's Curse and Dragon Sabre as well.

Well it came in June 27th. I didn't check my mailbox till yesterday afternoon, lol. Not bad for being ordered on June 11th and shipped out on the 13th.

I couldn't be more happy with this thing. This is the first flash cart I have ever bought. So, my hype level is pretty up there right now.  :D

It did take me a little time to get it working. I forgot to unzip the files at first, then unzipped them and the games still wouldn't run. So I reformatted the card in FAT32, put the PCE files in there then switched it to TG-16 mode and it works great. I guess it either wasn't formatted right to begin with and/or it didn't like PC-Engine mode on my region modded US Duo.

Well it shipped on June 11th. All I have right now is the tracking number for the Ukraine where it is originally shipped. Doesn't seem to give much information due to the language barrier and translating the words tell me nothing.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get from there to the new tracking number for Euro/US (Just US from the looks of it)?

Quote from: JKM on 06/08/2014, 09:17 AMFrom Retrogate it has taken between two weeks and a full month for me. That reminds me, I need to order a Fami Everdrive before my new AV Fami gets here...
Dayum... was hoping 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. Here's hoping I get it before July. Stone Age Gamer in the US is constantly out of stock with flash carts, yet Retrogate in Germany is always in stock. lol

After waiting forever to get one... I finally ordered a Turbo Everdrive from Retrogate in Germany. Finally get to play some out of reach games on real hardware and a CRT in S-video.

Next will either be one for the SNES or Genesis.

I ordered this Sunday night, so it should ship out tomorrow $5 air mail. Anybody know how long it takes for it to get to your doorstep in the US?

Real Bout Special is my personal favorite Fatal Fury for fighting engine, characters, special moves, background graphics, music and stages. Real Bout 2 comes very close but some of the subtle changes to characters moves and slightly lesser liked backgrounds graphics keep it from beating RBS. I kind of like the line sway system in RB2 better just for not having the going back and forth all the time.

Last Blade 1 and 2 are mandatory must owns, but man do they suffer greatly on the NGCD compared to the cart versions. Still, very playable if using a CDZ console.

Quote from: SuperDeadite on 03/25/2014, 04:26 AMNo experience on a CDZ, but on a Top Loader with all options on, it's something like 7 mins to actually get in a match.

In the end the thing AoF3 has going for it are the graphics, and the CD version pretty much ruins it.  The screen zooming was completely removed.
7 minutes is a bit of an exaggeration for the toploader running AOF 3, but it does take a while (40 seconds for the first match and a bunch of 12-15 second loads for the cutscenes/intro/win screens). The screen zooming is there in the NGCD, just confirmed it on my CDZ. They just made the characters 20% smaller and took out a few frames of animation. Other than that, AOF 3 on NGCD is still great, especially with the AST and playing it on a CDZ.

This commercial first back 1990 watching cartoons on TV.
Later on by reading Gamepro magazines and I was on some mailing list with brochures, posters, etc...

Here's my odd experience with the TG-16 and other things I mention:

I ended up getting my TG-16 on X-mas 1991 without asking for it. I really wanted a SNES mostly or even a Genesis that year. The main reason it being a problem for me at the time was due to that I lived on a Navy base in Puerto Rico and my mom got it at Toys R Us in California while visiting my grandmother. Nobody sold TG-16 games anywhere near my location, nor did anyone that I knew owned it on or off the base. I was stuck with Keith's Courage and Final Lap Twin. I also felt robbed X-mas 1989 for getting a Lynx instead of the Genesis, lol. My parents and grandmother could never get it right. I had the same problem, two games and could not buy more games for it. I guess we could have ordered games, but I was a kid and didn't know much about doing that. My parents and I would just keep going to the Navy Exchange and KB Toys off the base to buy regular NES games till '93  ](*,) .

Back to the TG-16. I enjoyed it at first, but then it got old with just two games for a year. Finally an EB games opened in a town summer of '92 just outside the base and I got Cadash. That game almost saved my deprived 16-bit ownership experience. It wasn't until 2000 and then 2006 when I actually started to get back into really enjoy the system. Well, I got a Duo US new from TZD in 2000 with Ys 1+2, Final Zone 2 and a 3-in-1 disc I picked up a few years before in a CD bin at a bargain store. That really helped. Then in 2006 I finally bought a few CD games and 30 HuCards US and JP. Ever since, I would buy a few games here and there that I really want, and I still do.

I really didn't experience the 16-bit age properly till I got a SNES in Spring '94... yeah f$%# 1994. I didn't get a Genesis and Sega CD until 1996 on the cheap, which was a year after I got my PS1 lol. Then a Neo Geo CD Toploader in '97. I went in hard when I got my first job in '97.

Depends on which model you have. I got one the better ones from NCSX back in 2001 or so. Some you even have to cut a trace and solder a wire I believe to get Vampire Savior working. I have no problems at all with my cart luckily. I have tested it out on a lot of games. Even if some games do cause problems, you rarely have to change out the cart.

Quote from: yoyo on 01/17/2014, 07:34 AMI remember trying to save games on a PSX memory card, it did seem pretty slow, esp compared to a Saturn memory card. Waited forever for the save menu to pop up, waited forever for the file to write, and waited forever for exiting the menu to go back to the game.
The Saturn cartridge slot provides a lot more bandwidth to save than does the Playstation memory card slot. The downside is of course that a lot of Saturn memory card slots are jacked up and I've seen games freeze in attempting to save when good contact isn't being made.
So would the best bet be, transfer files on the Saturn to a memory card, and keep the saturn on board memory clean to save what you are currently playing?
This is why the 4-in-1 AR does everything needed. It works as a back memory cart, but not as a save memory cart. I just make sure to clear some space with the internal memory before firing up a big memory using game like Dragon Force or something. It works with all 1MB and 4MB games minus KOF '95. I never have to unplug the cart and it isn't thick and destructive like the Game Shark.

The main thing is to get the right modchip. The blue board ones you would get from Racketboy and JL Games back in the day are not reliable. I had to get one of the bigger one with the ribbon cable built into it from a UK seller back in 2006. I would assume it is even more of a pain now. Also, some Saturns won't work with some modchips or all mod chips. My Blue Skeletal Saturn wouldn't boot with any of them due to the latest bios from '97 since it was the last Saturn model produced that I know of.
#17
Games like Megaman 8, and all SNK and Capcom fighters are better on the Saturn than the PS1. Mostly they are improved in graphics and performance. I bought my Blue Derby Skeletal JP Saturn new for $200 back in 2000 with a ST Key cart. At the time I got it mainly for Dragon Force and Guardian Heroes. Worth owning it just for those two games. Later on I bought Assault Suit Leynos, both X-men/Marvel vs Street Fighter, Vampire Savior, and a few others.

When I got back into playing my Saturn again in 2006, the prices were too high for some games I wanted to play. So, I got a US black round button model Saturn and installed a mod chip to play CD-Rs, lol. Yeah, I know it looks bad, but I refuse to pay those prices for games like Panzer Dragoon Saga, Radiant Silvergun, Hyper Duel, etc....

I really enjoyed SC4 when I played it in '94 (I was late to the party with not owning a SNES until then). The music is something to enjoy on the SNES along with just the overall atmosphere. So I have a bit more nostalgic moments with it along with Bloodlines.

I never got to play Dracula X for PCE until I got a Duo in 2000. It is definitely an overall better game than SC4 and it would be even more so if I played it around the time it came out.... especially due to the fact I played Symphony of The Night 4 years before it (JP and US versions). The soundtrack has the best of all the classic Castlevania games in redbook audio and very nice vibrant colors. More importantly, it has the best replay value of all the classic games and just the right challenge.
#19
Quote from: EvilEvoIX on 10/11/2013, 12:51 PMI just picked up all of these on the cheap.  SS1 is classic but AOF2 is a pure beast, damn near impossible and must be mastered to beat.
Well most characters like Ryo and Robert, just triangle jump kick and hard kick sweep. You can't straight up fight the computer, you have to use the cheapness patterns (even on 1 out of 8 challenge, lol). Kinda fucking ruins any casual enjoying of the game 1 player-wise, which is a damn shame.

This is why I just use the Unibios cheats to get an upper hand. Like infinite spirit meter for moves. This is one of the few games I make the exception of using cheats.

It would probably be best to get a Duo/PC-Engine Tap modified with a TG-16 plug to go into the console. This way you get the better Japanese consoles/US Duo controllers that are easier to find as well. The big Din plug for the TG-16 controllers tend to break easily around the metal part.

Definitely get a CD add-on for the game saves and AV output, even one with a dead disc drive is worth it and could possibly be a somewhat easy fix. Turbo Booster Plus is another option, but seems a little silly for the money unless you are a collector.

Another option is to S-video and AV mod the TG-16 for around $40-50. The video quality is amazing. Region modding is nice as well, but I find it is just better to get a Japanese console if you get serious about buying Japanese HuCards.

I make my own banana mixed berry smoothies. Real easy and easy to consume while gaming. Just throw some ice, milk, sugar bananas and berries of your choice. I usually just buy frozen mixed berries or just blue berries. Great for breakfast when you are hungover as well.

Sometimes I make bread pudding with caramel and apple in it. BTW, yeah.... I cook a lot. It's one of my other passions next to gaming, music and a bit of late night drinky.

Quote from: guest on 07/31/2013, 10:49 PMHey everyone,

I've always wanted a Neo Geo, so recently I've decided to buy a CDZ soon....

So far I own Last Blade 2......
Thanks.
Yeah, you will want that CDZ. If you are playing Last Blade 1 and 2.... definitely get the CDZ. In fact, all fighters after 1995 it is more than worth it. If you are going for other games like earlier fighters and all non-fighters, the single speed models will suffice. So nice to see you are choosing it over the others.

I started with the Toploader in '97, then my game collection grew to about 20 games. Got an AES for graduation in '99, but only had 3 games (SS1, 2 and KOF 99). By the time I got a good job in 2000, I instantly bought a CDZ to endure the loading of my CD games and bought a crap ton of AES titles within 3 years.

Lesson is... go AES or MVS  :-"

I was lucky with AES due to buying some of the games when they were cheaper (Last Blade 1, AOF 3, etc...) or as they were coming out (Mark of The Wolves, Metal Slug 3, etc...). I still break out the CDZ for games I can't afford for AES like Pulstar, Viewpoint and sometimes just for dem soundtrackz.

Quote from: Bernie on 08/02/2013, 12:53 AMGot the NES Everdrive in today.  Its really a nice piece!  Its nice being able to play the disk system games, and it auto switches disk A or B for you, really a nice touch.  So far I've been very impressed with these chips.  I've got the Turbo one, Snes , and now the NES.  Think I'll grab the N64 one next.  I may get the MegaDrive one at some point, not sure yet.
How is the extra sound from FDS games and others like Dracula 3? I am assuming you did the resistor audio mod asking this, lol.

I am really considering buying it instead of the Powerpak or the newer Powerpak coming out soon supposedly.

Seems the sale is going right now at $5-6 per Ys game. I checked on the 23rd and the prices were back up to $15-20, but on sale again now. Confused if the sale was over for a little bit and then reinstated.

Model 2 is so damn reliable... so. I also hear about the loading times being a little different between the Model 1/2/CDX and X-Eye. Anybody know the exact difference in seconds for certain games loading sessions???
#26
What about the vertical jailbars running across the screen? Even on my my TMSS Genesis 1 I see it... which is the model without rainbow banding BTW. This is why I really am just gonna go ahead and RGB SCART to Component convert my consoles. I dunno, it just seems too noticeable to me. Still, miles ahead of the composite and older S-Video mod before Xian Xi (Jamma Nation X's) revised color corrected mod.

Quote from: Joe Redifer on 06/15/2013, 07:42 PMThe thing I hate about Art of Fighting 2 is that it's too damn easy. I swear I maybe lost 2 or 3 bouts TOTAL in my first time playing it. Never lost a match. That's probably not even possible.
How are you playing the game and with who??? I only win by spamming sweeps and triangle jump kicks. If you straight up try to play the game "normal" it hands you your ass with its cheap ass AI.
#28
1cc King of Fighters 97 for Neo Geo on level 8 using Ralf, Billy and Kyo on my team.

Completing Super C for NES without getting close to losing a life.

Oddly enough I got damn good at Final Lap Twin for TG-16 since I only owned it and Keith's Courage for the first year of having the console.

I say to hell with the LCD for retrogaming and locate a Sony PVM/BVM RGB monitor (handles composite and S-Video nicely also). If you can't get one that easily, just find yourself a decent 20"-27" Sony Trinitron from '99-2004. Stay away from the EDTV/HDTV CRTs for 240p gaming if you can. They are a nice alternative for 480i/p gaming but you lose scanlines with 240p due to line-doubling.

I've had this game since it came out and never beat one scenario. Apparently I kept screwing myself with the way I would level up. You level up with stats instead of levels, much like Final Fantasy 2 JP. The Hit Point and Life Points system is what would get me. I would level up a character like when playing Rogue or Blue's scenario, get far, and always die at the final/or later battles. I kept getting killed in two turns or so, resurrect my characters and then run out of Life Points, die again and game over. Seriously, how is it that they would make a game where if you level up too much in a certain way, you will never win?!?!? WTF dude???

Anywho, the game has amazing graphics, sound and just overall atmosphere to it. I guess I will give it another go and just do what they say on Gamefaqs and make a character that can do all of those wrestling like chain moves when not equipped with a weapon.

Quote from: EvilEvoIX on 04/10/2013, 11:47 PMGet the component cables for the PS2, some games are in 480P like god of war 2 I believe.
Oh, I got component cables for my PS2 since I bought my Sony WEGA Trinitron back in 2004. Just soon after that, I modded my Neo Geo AES with Neobitz Component video.

Yeah, I only own a few PS2 games that support 480p. Tekken 4 and 5, Genesis Collection, Capcom Classics Vol. 2, Guilty Gear X2, and SF Alpha Anthology (Not sure if the US one does it as I could have sworn I tried it with no success, but it is on the list and probably means the JP version). I still find it silly that the PS2 rarely utilized its 240p capability for games that were originally in that resolution to begin with. The only games I know of that are in 240p are: Gradius III on the Gradius 3+4 disc, ICO, and Tekken 1 and 2 arcade games on the Tekken 5 disc.

Here's the EDTV, HDTV list:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_2_games_with_HD_support

Kind of curious how well those force 480p homebrew software programs like GSM work.

Anywho, here's the only link I could really find for Sony Service mode codes and settings. It will come in handy.

Mine is the VA 6 or 6.8 Model 1 which has TMSS, but there's no rainbow banding like with the earlier ones.

Stay away from the VA 7 when it comes to the Model 1. The back of the console is a dead give away.

Got my TG-16 when it was on sale at Toys R Us for $99 on x-mas of '91. It was with Keith's Courage pack-in and Final Lap Twin ($20). I asked for a SNES and my mom went the cheap route when visiting my grandmother in CA. I lived on the Navy base in Ceiba, Puerto Rico at the time and the NEX was the only place to get games, which did not sell TG-16 stuff at all. At the time there was nowhere to buy games until they opened a EB store off base around mid '92 in Fajardo. I ended getting Cadash from there and then never got a game for it after, until I bought my own Turbo Duo new from TZD in 2000 with Ys 1+2 and Final Zone 2. I already found the 4 in 1 disc in CD bargain bin for $2 in '99 (get this) at a place called 'Hudson's Treasure Hunt' discount outlet... Success.

So, my experience was rather limited through the 90's with it with my 3 games. By the time I moved back to the states in late '93 the market for TG-16 was pronounced dead and got me a SNES in the spring. Hell, we only had a Wal-Mart and K-Mart anyway. They never sold TG-16 stuff there to begin with. I asked some friends of mine that lived here in MS and they never have seen any of it. We didn't even get a real game store until '96 in my town, lol.

Mine is a 27" that is similar from 2003. These things are perfect for retrogaming without resorting to buying a very expensive set or professional monitor like a Sony PVM. They handle 240p perfectly. Any problems with the blacks, sharpness, colors and geometry can be fixed with 'Service Mode'. It is quite easy to work with. Even composite video on a NES with its 3D comb filtering looks great.

For 480i gaming on the PS2 for example... I prefer my 36" Toshiba HD CRT which uses a 4:3 aspect ratio screen. It takes 480i and up-scans it to 480p with no lag that is noticeable. So, it gets rid of the shaky flickering of 480i. It looks sharper and more vibrant than on a regular SD monitor. Using 480p mode for the few PS2 games that support progressive scan look even better. I was really happy to get component cables for my Game Cube to use on it and fire up RE4 and MGS: Twin Snakes.

Quote from: BlueBMW on 04/01/2013, 09:54 PMI'm well on my way to being a total aeshole.  AES cart #2 arrived today.
Nam is the game the defined the Neo for me. ML was a must have also: The colors and design, good control...I put a roll of quarters in that game and still never beat it (I had the memory card so I felt it was not a total waste of money). Solid pick-up.
I feel the same way about Nam-1975. I had my AES for several years and slapped my forehead, asking myself why I don't have this for my AES. I bought it within a week, US mint with no black marker censoring for $40 in 2007. I enjoy it a lot more than ML gameplay wise.

I mostly have all the main fighters along with Metal Slug 3 and 15 common carts like Blues Journey, ML, Baseball Stars, Thrash Rally, KotM, etc... I still want to get some Shootem ups, but most are too expensive and I might as well go the MVS route for those. I can at least buy Last Resort for AES maybe, but definitely not Pulstar, Blazing Star and Viewpoint... youch.

It puts out S-Video fine and the S-RGB chip says BA6592F on it. Should be fine right??? It is a later model SNES, but not the last ones they made just before SNES Jr. BTW, this particular SNES doesn't have the faint vertical bar running down the middle of the screen either. So this might be an oddball out of the SNES???
#37
For your CRT, have tried looking up the service menu codes??? I always mess with mine on my Sony Trinitron WEGA 27". They tend to have a "red push" (makes your blacks look red-brown) and mine was over-scanned vertically and shifted to the right by 8-10% in my case... so I adjusted the RDRV and RCUT to lower the "red push", and messed with VSIZ, HSIZ, HPOS and SCRLL (vertical position - better adjust). Now, I only have to mess with the geometry depending on the console and certain games with off centered picture.

Anywho, in your case, you would just have to lower the blue and push the green a bit. Remember, red and green has yellow in between, lol.

BTW, my chip says S-RGB in a later model 1 SNES. So what does that make it???
#38
What looks to be an early 90's NEC set with early 90's NEC consoles. NEC on NEC action, the way it was meant to be. I crossbreed with an early 2000 Sony or Toshiba. Once I went flat screen CRT with digital comb filter... I never could go back.

A lot of Famicom/NES stuff has been going on lately. The release of the N8 and soon NES Everdrive is damn great. Now, there's an HDMI/Online Scoreboard (mini USB) board about to come out for the Toploader NES/AV Famicom. On top of that, there's a NES Powerpak 2.0 coming out. Awesome times for Nintendo 8-bit greatness.

I am basically sitting this out till I know for sure which flash cart and video board to get. I have been wanting to RGB mod my NES, but I much rather sacrifice 240p with scanlines than go through the whole hellishness of finding a PC-10 PPU and paying out the ass just to get off-looking colors. I hope they make an S-video/Component version of the HDMI board with 240p. That would be awesome sauce!!!

Quote from: Sensato Black Lion on 03/05/2013, 09:23 AMBack on the original topic, has anyone compared this newer s-video mod with the CXA1645 one?

I made a screenshot comparison page based on the CXA mod some time ago if anyone is interested: http://quebecgamers.com/sensato/Workshop/PCE_svid.htm

I took my screenshots with some ATI All-In-Wonder capture card from an old PC I don't have anymore.

The difference between svideo and composite seems bigger to me with these screenshots (based on the CXA1645 svideo mod) than with the newer mod but I will have to try the newer mod to see how it really does.

I almost pray that the output from the new mod is of similar quality than with the CXA mod because the new mod is simply MUCH easier to perform.
My Duo originally had the even better CXA 2075 S-video mod, which looked just a bit better than CXA 1645 from what I could tell. Now I have it with the newer S-video mod in the same Duo... which I added while I sent it off for a cap replacement after my attempt that went wrong.

I can tell you for sure, it is definitely better. First of all, even the pics you posted show it very well; the colors are more accurate and has a brighter picture more like you see in the original composite video, but much more vibrant and sharp. So you get the right colors and the brighter picture as intended. The new S-Video mod along with some caps added also gets rid of any jail bars and the subtle RF-like interference.

I say remove any CXA based S-Video mods and replace it with the new one.

I am happy with Capcom releasing games like SF3: Third Strike, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, X-men Origins, and MVC 2. This is about the only thing they are doing right. Konami did alright with Ubisoft on TMNT Arcade and then the other games like: Simpsons Arcade, Contra, Super Contra, X-men, etc... Still, would be nice to see some other gems. I would love to see some arcade releases downloadable of Gradius, Sunset Riders and a few others.

It seems like they get onto something great, then do it too slow or stop. Get yo shiat together Capcom and Konami. Same goes for SNK with their very selective releases.

Seriously, only bought my NGC for Metroid Prime and Resident Evil Remake. Later on, I got RE 0, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Tales of Symphonia, Zelda Windwaker, RE 4 and MGS Twin Snakes. There just weren't too many NGC games I really cared to get.

Man, I was really looking forward to a Capcom Classics Collection Vol.3 for PS2 over the years. This kinda feels like they are just starting over and it is digital instead of physical media.

Everybody knows what we really want is the licensed out CPS1/Dash, CPS2 and other overlooked games. Games like, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, The Punisher, Aliens vs Predator, SF Alpha series, Darksalkers series (heard this is actually coming out), D&D series, and a bunch of shoot-em ups.

Quote from: SamIAm on 02/10/2013, 09:55 PMIt definitely looks good, and I'd bet you would be glad to get hold of a CRT. Naturally, the Duo in composite (and the Supergrafx, too) has that quirk where certain color patterns get all funky when they scroll. That's the nature of the composite encoding on this system. If an S-Video mod can reduce or get rid of that, then I think I wouldn't really need any other quality boosts.
With the S-video mod (thesteve on the forums version), it fixes both the dot crawl and color shimmering. It even gets rid of rainbow effects and shimmering you see even when the screen is sitting still. It also improves resolution and color by a lot. It is definitely worth doing, trust me.

No ugly convertors poking out of the HuCard slot. Also, it is more reliable in the long run. While you are at it, get an S-video mod done to it. The S-video mod is cheaper than ever to do these days, due to no more external circuit with an encoder.
$50... but do you then need to pay for shipping both ways on top of that?  That would add to the cost... but yeah, I really need to get my TG16 region-modded sometime.  It definitely seems like the cheapest way to play imports...

The thing is though, I've also got a TG16 CD drive with a dead laser.  I've been unable to decide if I could actually fix it myself if I got the laser (maybe, but do I want to spend like $40 or whatever a laser would cost and then not do it right...), or if I should send it to someone, so it's just been sitting around for several years now... I REALLY need to do something about that.
Even with all of that (region mod, simple s-video mod, laser replacement). You would still pay under $80. You would be surprised how reasonably priced it is to get a few things done when you send your system off to someone here.

It cost me $80 + $10 shipping on my end to get my US Turbo Duo for a complete capacitor replacement, add stereo jacks to the back, tweak CD-Rom laser settings, re-attach the region mod due to me removing it and trying to put it back in during my failed capacitor replacement, removing the external encoder S-video mod and doing the newer simple circuit S-video mod and adding 2 caps to get rid of the jailbarring that video mods tend to show. Very reasonable I say.

Ghost in the Shell on PS1 is the only good thing I remember from THQ. Funny thing is, they didn't even make the game, lol.

Those wrestling games for PS1 and N64 were mediocre as hell. Since they were the only US company making them, there was no high standard for those type of games.

Yeah, keep the dead pad around for parts when you get a replacement. Those rubber pads can wear out after a while.

At least Ave 6 pads go for under $20 (these days I hope). I got mine back in 2006 from D-Lite for $15. It was broken-in just right to play some SF 2:CE.

I really need to get a Ave 3 to play my Forgoten Worlds more comfortably. Still blows my mind that there's no 3 button mode with the Ave 6. It would save the trouble of getting another controller.
