If the only counterfeits that exists of the game are the Tobias', then I'm OK, mine's OG.Quote from: julencin2000 on 11/12/2015, 07:24 AMI won't be able to have another copy of the game to have them side by sideSo look at a picture? Supposedly PCEWorks (Tobias) puts his logo on everything he counterfeits.
But are there any oher known fake copies, Tobias aside? Where the differences with the original are less obvious?
I will take a scan of the center ring of my Dracula X tonight (in about 12 hours...) and post it here for you to look at.
<snippy>
There are other variations, (FACT, FABT), but it should look something close to that...

Quote from: pongstory on 05/31/2015, 01:32 PMI sold an unreleased PCE prototype.
Quote from: pongstory on 05/31/2015, 01:32 PMI'm not familiar with PCE games...
Quote from: ultrageranium on 05/22/2015, 01:47 PMQuote from: schweaty on 05/21/2015, 04:23 PMif you can find one, i'm a fan of the Micomsoft XE-1 Pro. only PCE stick i really likeI tried to find one for months and gave up. I eventually got a PS2 Namco arcade stick that I use on the PCE with a small adapter. Really nice for STG. Visual novels, RPG, Action/Adventure/RPG etc are nicer with a pad though.
Quote from: SmokeMonster on 05/15/2015, 12:47 PMWell, it has the exact voltage but gives a little more A than the SF needs, so it's ok in terms of characteristics. At the beginning I thought my PVM was having the failure, then I changed the power adapter for a generic brick and voilĂ , no noise into the image. Here I saw myself saying "what the frak, stepdown and end of story".Quote from: julencin2000 on 05/15/2015, 12:32 PMAfter a bad experience with a switching power supply (introduced electrical interferences in my SFAMICOM) I don't think I'm buying anything different than original regulated power supplies and, in my case, a stepdown.Ouch. What type did you use? Did you make sure the voltage and amperage were exact?
Quote from: esteban on 02/26/2015, 05:58 PMIndeed.Quote from: julencin2000 on 02/26/2015, 05:31 PMIt would be interesting to see this research.Quote from: SuperDeadite on 02/03/2015, 08:39 PMThere must be a lot of research backing up this affirmation.Quote from: guest on 02/03/2015, 01:40 PMJust out of curiosity (and since I'm dumb), what's the deal with Europe?Traditionally Europeans have always been willing to pay more, mostly due to ignorance.
