Quote from: Phase on 11/06/2017, 11:13 PMNot sure if it would work but you could try a black wiimotes wrist strap?
Hmm...good idea, and probably a hell of a lot sturdier too. Thanks for the tip!

Yep, can't believe i'm just looking for a wrist strap...but it's the only part I need to make my TE truly CIB. Well, that, and my son dropped my other TE which got me thinking about the wrist strap for my NOS one.
Hit me up with a pm if you've got one to sell. Thanks!

Quote from: Renmauzo on 07/16/2015, 10:59 PMJust got mine in today, and it works perfectly. Thanks to all the guys that posted up tutorial steps and tech help, ended up making the setup really easy.

...and of course, thank you so much jtucci for setting this up and taking care of everything; it's been a pleasure to be included in the buy!
Just wondering if that system happened to be a US Turbo Grafx 16...
I'm using it on a Turbo Express. First thing I did was change the region toggle switch from PCE to TG-16.

I've never used an Everdrive before, are they easy enough to set up? Is there a tutorial out there, and a recommended site for the game d/ls?

Quote from: guest on 07/07/2015, 08:54 PMYou can put mine at the end of the list, as I give zero fucks about waiting.
Same here. The wait has forced me to try to beat the few games I have. Whatever makes things easier and keeps people happy :)

LoneWolf hooked me up with the Tam Sport TE fanny pack I was after. Communication was stellar, packing and shipping were great, and now I finally feel comfortable taking my TE out of the house.

Fantastic seller! :)

Recently discovered the Wire for the first time. I wasn't sold on the first episode, but got hooked pretty quickly after that. Into the beginning of season 2 now and wishing the team hadn't been split up. I can see why this show was so popular in the day.

Quote from: thisIsLoneWolf on 06/15/2015, 05:29 PMI think I have one of these I can sell you. What's a fair price for this? 20 bucks + shipping?
Done!

Quote from: guest on 06/15/2015, 09:25 AMFor everyone that likes to pack their fanny..... not that there's anything wrong with that.
Lol, it would be the one time I could wear a fanny pack and not feel ashamed.

Thanks for the heads up; I threw down for two.

Quote from: bartre on 06/09/2015, 08:41 PMwell with the vita version, i'll be buying this game twice :)

need more reasons to play the vita, and the ps4 version will entice me to buy the new system eventually.
Yup, got the wife to throw down for a copy so that we can have it on PS4 and Vita.

- Shawshank Redemption (I think I've watched the movie more than 50 times)
- Goodfellas
- Casino
- Scarface
- Back to the Future Trilogy
- Terminator 2
- The Replacements
- The Wizard
- Rocky 1-5
- Cocktail

...just the ones I could think of right away, but I keep my movie collection small and tend to get a hankering for watching the same ones regularly.

I finally got a TE today (only took 20+ years), with all the sweet mods and am (my son too!) LOVING it! That said, I want to take it with me to work and want to do it right. I'm looking for the official pouch that Tam Sport released for the TE in that sweet black and orange color scheme :D
If anyone has one lying around that they don't need anymore and would be willing to sell, please let me know :)

On the NES. Ironically, my parents saw me playing Pitfall on the 2600, noted how frustrated it made me, and didn't bother getting one. When they finally broke down and got a console, it was the NES, and they 'steered' me towards getting Q-Bert. If they had only known how that game would drive me nuts, lol.

Q-Bert.

That game made me want to break the controller as a kid.

They should really call it the Nintendo National Championships since the rest of us non-US residents can't join in. I guarantee I would take people to school in Dr. Mario :D

It would be sweet to win one of those badly deformed, poorly cast gold Mario statues.

I'm pretty new to the TE, and most of my exposure to one that's running have had the a/v mod. All this time, I had thought this was a stock feature of the unit  I love the idea of being able to bring something so compact to a friend's house for gaming.
On a side note, it's unfortunate that the NEC and TE logos are lost when doing the 3.5" LCD mod :/

Quote from: guest on 05/23/2015, 11:57 PMWith that, I also want to double check I have everyone marked correctly for what they wanted.

USB Orders
elmer x3
BigusSchmuck
Pokun
ultrageranium
Warbucks

International Orders
Pokun (Ukraine)

Let me know if all of this is correct and/or satisfactory enough. PM's will go out soon enough once I get confirmation from krikzz and confirmation from the people listed.
I just wanted to give you a heads up that I'm in Canada.

Quote from: guest on 05/22/2015, 08:09 PMNow I will be able to see if my covers will work with the new version.
Covers would be great fro these, if someone could 3d print a run of them. I noticed the deluxe version has a black cover to protect the pcb. I'd buy one to go with the TED for sure if it were available.
There is no deluxe version. Some stores just like to dress up flashcarts and charge a crazy premium for them.

Several people have already made 3D printed and misc physical covers for the original Turbo Everdrive.
Cool. I saw the one on stoneage gamer but didn't realize that the covers were readily available. Thanks for teh heads up!

Hi everyone, this definitely looks like the place to be for all things PCE/TG-16, so I signed up a couple of days ago to get the lay of the land.

I got a PCE Duo just before Christmas, and have a Turbo Express coming tomorrow, but I'm not very familiar with a lot of the library; I only have 6 games (Bonk's Adventure, Darius Plus, Ordyne, Out Live, R-Type 1, and Sidearms-Hyper Dyne) so far, but I'd like to build a library of solid games.

In the past, I only ever had a few run-ins with the TG-16, as my cousin was the only person I knew who had one, and I almost never saw it on store shelves. The console was and is mostly a mystery to me. I do remember loving every minute of watching my cousin play the games we rented (we actually had a rental store that carried a pretty good TG-16 selection, and no, he never let me play) and always hoped I could get a TG-16 some day.

So here I am. It's good to be here, and I'm hoping to learn a lot about NEC's consoles; I know I've been loving my time with the Duo for the last 7 months.
