I've tried to make some normal conversation with some of you guys, some of who are really cool, very informative, helpful people and i thank you for that

Some of you, are just a bag of hole-less dicks with blue balls dating back to the early 90's.

I guess most of you can put me under the "collectard" category or whatever the fuck it is.

I collect Games, some of which come in those shiny, fancy, pieces of cardboard. I like some of the "Collector's Editions" especially the ones that have some cool statues. I don't mind paying a bit extra for those (notice how i said A BIT)

I've been playing games all my life, i've owned every console except the Atari Jaguar, and Virtual Boy.

Yes i have a fucking 3DO and i love the fuck out of some of the games (Road Rash, Monster Manor, Super Street Fighter 2) the console sucks but i enjoy some of the games, sorry i left out GEX which is also a favorite of mine.

I've made a bunch of purchases on the internet, garage sales, ebay, etc

I've come across some extremely valuable shit in my short time as a "Collectard" and i've sold some extremely valuable and shitty games for some high prices.

This is how it works in case some of you didn't know

I buy a "Lot" of games for the SNES, hmmmm a copy of Earthbound? i already have this shit, oh and a copy of fucking Chrono Trigger i don't need a second copy? BUT WAIT! a copy of Super Valis IV, man i've really wanted to try this game out so i'll keep this, oh and NHL 94??!??!! I USED TO LOVE THIS FUCKING GAME! i'm gonna light up a fucking fat joint and drink a beer, play this with on of my fellow Ranger Fans!

so i keep the two games that I personally want, and guess what? I sell the fucking dumb copy of Earthbound along with Chrono Trigger on the internet. Somebody wants to pay me $170 for a "Rare" copy of Earthbound and a "Rare" copy of Chrono Trigger???? When the fuck did these games become "RARE" i don't fucking know, but i don't fucking care either because now i've got $250 in my pocket that i didn't have before. Hmmmm, it's just some extra pocket change, i'll set it aside in case i find some great games i want to play at a decent price

A Week later I find a 3DO holy shit! comes with 30 games? some of them SEALED? and the guy only wants $150??A?!? i'll take it!

so now i have an additional fucking $100 i got off somebody who believes Chrono Trigger and Earthbound are holy fucking grails and no other kid in their neighborhood has them and they'll be the god damn talk of the town!

oh, and i also have a 3DO now fucking SWEET

but what the fuck do i want these god damn Sealed Games for? i'm only gonna play 5-6 out of these games so i'll trade these stupid games off, whatever

2 months later, someone posts an ad on craigslist, HEY I WANT SOME SHITTY 3DO GAMES !

so i write to this idiot who wants to play TWISTED and fucking KILLING TIME

he tells me what he has for trade, holy shit a fucking set of AES Games! I have an AES somewhere, shit i dont' have any carts though. fine lets make this trade happen

3 months later i build a MAME cabinet, hmm. i guess i'll never touch that damn Neo Geo Again. Maybe someone i know can use it? Trade it off for some SNES games (he got the better end of the deal of course) but i don't fucking care, now i can play the BOF games for SNES and some Lufia, etc. i'm a sucker for RPG's.

Cool, now i can finally play that Dracula X game which sucks on the SNES, oh and Ys! FUCKING Ys!!!! (which i still don't own) cool i'll sell my turbografx-16, why keep it if i'm never going to use it?

someone offers me $80? hmmm, well they do sell for $100+ on ebay... whatever kid just give me the $80, hey i'll also toss in this copy of Keith Courage since i have 2.

TurboExpress, hey does anyone want this? somebody offers $150... i saw nah man! this thing needs to be recapped! $150 is too high, oh wait what's a recap he asks? i tell him, check out fucking pcenginefx those dudes can help, they're the best in regards to this Turbo shit. He ends up giving me $100 since it's cosmetically in great shape and the video still works.

So now i've got $180 laying around, hmmm a collection of games on craigslist for $100? some titles in here i wouldn't mind playing.

I received these as Promotional copies today, I only owned 2 reproductions before this.

1. Earthbound 25th anniversary for NES
2. Final Fantasy VII NES Remake

The guy who made the FF7 Remake did an amazing job, 3D printed carts, custom boards, poster, full sized manual, etc. Really well made

The Earthbound is just a repro cart, nothing more than a donor cart and a new label.

What's up with PCEngineFX and how do you guys feel about Turbo Repros? i've seen some posts titled with "Tobias Copy" or whatever, so i'm kind of confused as to how you guys feel about these?

is his work frowned upon, or are the prices the problem? or do you guys like/dislike the work?

I'd like to hear from you guys, what do you guys think about the situation with Turok Rage Wars for the N64. Crappy game, shitty by any standard. Originally came in a black cartridge.

Turns out there was an achievement in co-op play that could not be completed in the original release, Nintendo had customers ship the game back to them, and sent them a replacement cartridge.

This Cartridge is Grey, same game, except the bug was fixed and was inserted into a Gray cart instead of the original Black cart.

The Value of this Gray Cartridge sky-rocketed after the story was made public, how does this make you guys feel? do you think it's justifiable that this particular variant is so expensive?

I made the mistake of throwing my stuff on ebay at a high price, honestly didn't think it would upset anyone on here otherwise I would have not posted it. Like i Said before it's a learning experience, you guys are way more passionate about the turbo than what I've noticed about Nintendo/sega/neo fans. And I respect that very much, I admit I have not gotten to that point with this console just yet. With that said, I hope I didn't piss  anyone off too much. I'll continue to use these forums even if most or all of you decide to hate me, doesn't mean I'll be out if the turbo scene

i just purchased a TurboDuo 2 weeks ago man, i am really enjoying the console so far. I'm just concentrating on the stuff i really want to play for now, i'll go after a complete set maybe later in the future or maybe not, i'm unsure at this point. I will get back to you on SSS, a few people have asked me about it but i'm being fair to the first person who asked for it and waiting for them to answer me

haha, man i'm just surprised as to how this so called "mod" is behaving, i've never seen anything like it on any forum. She's a special person that's for sure, but yeah that tapatalk thing isn't all that great.

It's a neat gesture to do the forum a favor by selling some of those games here for lower end of eBay sold prices, but something to keep in mind is that, aside from only partaking in market talk so far, these are all games that regulars here raffle away for free regularly.

It's likely that any of these games which might have sold were all bought by new or silent members anyways.

Sorry, i'm not familiar with the raffles on here. so can't really comment on those, but that's very nice of you guys to raffle off free stuff, great idea.

Nobody's advice was for the value of each individual game, you clod.  You asked for and were given a value for the LOT, which is always lower than the sum of the separate parts.  It's dead simple - you asked for one thing, listed it on ebay to fish for offers, and then split it all up to try and save face.

I don't remember giving out any prices on here until this morning, and i've already sold 3 of the games, with one pending which i priced according to the feedback i received from guess who? MEMBERS of this community.

so please, attach some sort of screenshot, or message or ANYTHING that can point the finger at me trying to screw someone in THIS community.

Ease up a bit?  Dude, you're not a part of the community.  You're not here to talk Turbo.  You're here to get us to waste our time pricing out your stuff, so that you can go sell it on eBay for double what it's worth.  If you just wanted to get fair value for it, and didn't want it going to flippers, you could have sold it here and avoided eBay fees and the nonsense that goes along with selling stuff there.  But you didn't do that because you want maximum profits from the collectards, so you come here to see what the stuff is actually worth, just so that you don't accidentally price the stuff too low and give someone a good deal.

Next time, just use PriceCharting.com or search eBay completed listings instead of wasting our time and then spitting in our faces.

And yes I admit I have resold items, and flipped some here and there but I've done so to expand my own collection which up until now has been strictly Nintendo and Sega, the market is much smaller for turbo and I haven't had much experience selling/buying/or trading any of it.
