My duo gets no volts past the diode! Does anyone know the value? It just one day stopped working :-k??

if that is a diode,it should allow current one way but not the other way.set up you vom to do a continuity test.probe it one way with the leads and see if you have continuity then switch the leads and probe it opposite that you had already done before.you should have continuity one way and infinity the other way.

Yeah, what he said, and also: most DMM's have a diode check feature just in case your VOM can't produce the forward voltage to turn the diode on.
