What happened to the Turbo List?

What ever happened to the Turbo List? You know, the old joyce.eng.yale.edu site? I've been looking for it and it appears to be gone. Has it moved somewhere, or has it really disappeared. I used to be a regular contributor many, many years back.

I'm also interested in the Saturn list, which was an offshoot of the original Turbo list...

I'm really hoping these two mailing lists didn't totally disappear.

To re-join, send a SUBSCRIBE request to turbo-list-request@mindrec.com, and follow the directions that are mailed to you. For the time being, the list should be considered "fragile" as more improvements will be added to it, and it may go down at any time (but hopefully for only brief moments).

Once things are cleaned up a bit more, some of the other lists will return as well, and we are hoping to get the lost roster from joyce, so that those who were on the list can be notified about it...

Everyone here should sign up, by the way, since we need to show bt that there is an interest in resusitating the TurboList

I'm signed up but when I try to retrieve the DIR all I get back is gibberish. Any tips?

Alls I remember is that the list owner was a royal jerk. He was so unfriendly and expected me to have all this technical knowledge about my email. Sure, he ran the list, but he didn't need to lord over it as he did. I do miss it though...
