Well, people come and go -- it's the way it's been. I figure there's about 20 or so folks who's been on here regularly for quite some time (year+), plus another dozen or so that seems to rotate every 6 months or so.

Missa is great. As NecroPhile said, she was always willing to help someone out. She walked me, step by step, through computer problems last year. Some of you probably remember the shoutbox turning into a computer tech page last summer. lol

awesome - though this piece is much older, I relate a bit, as seeing it in action takes me back to the good ol' 2400bps BBS days (well, that's about how far I go back when it comes to modem technology, anyway).

That's probably the most awesome thing I've ever seen on YouTube, hands down. I find it fascinating a modem that old actually had a standard DB-style serial port capable of interfacing with a 2009 computer. As much as things change, they still stay the same.

I remember that speed very well-- my first computer in the 1980s was a Kaypro 4, which had an internal 300 baud modem. My favorite afterschool activity was calling up local BBSes and spending an hour downloading 360k games.
