I think you missed the message where I said you were not so far. So actually YES, those zeros do come from somewhere and if I chose them, it's because the fonts are quite well known. Some were not too far in there answers but you really have to search more as it's a very tricky one.

OK.

I'm gonna say the zeroes are "fontus Konamus", and, therefore, that they are from a lesser known game. Since Konami only put out a handful of games, why not say...

...crap, what's the name of their vs. fighting game? The only one they developed for PCE CD format, IIRC?

Martial Champion! (I think nodtveidt/Old Rover used to point out that this title was mistakenly pluralized by folks.)

And that's my best guess.
