Welcome!  Bloody Wolf is a pretty solid game, and the TG has many more classixcs.  There are plenty of posts that get into those.

I picked up Ninja Gaiden loose hu card for $5 on ebay, but a complete will cost you a bunch more.  A core grafx should cost less than $50 shipped.

Word of warning, once you get into the system you will probably want to get a CD add-on or Duo, so the price could add up!

Ceti Alpha

Welcome, trash. :)

Yeah, you'll probably want to get yourself a CD unit or Duo/DuoR/SuperCDROM2, but I'd just focus on getting some HuCards for the time being. Bloody Wolf is a great classic, so you're off to a good start. Some other great hueys are:

- New Adventure Island
- Dungeon Explorer
- Galaga '90
- Ninja Spirit
- Aero Blasters
- Bonk's Adventure/Bonk's Revenge
- Blazing Lazers
- Legendary Axe
- Parasol Stars
- Splatter House
- R-Type
- Raiden
- Soldier Blade

Those are probably my top US HuCards and a certainly a good start to any collection. You can't go wrong with any of these games.

loved Bloody Wolf! never gave it a chance back in the arcade days, but found it was pretty cool once i had it for TG16!
I still remember learning about the crazy "floating invincibility" trick on an episode of GAMEPRO (yes folks, there was tvshow based on the magazine hosted by a guy name JDRoth, and sad how i remember his name....)

Opethian

Welcome aboard! I may have a Core Grafx II and Super CD for sale if interested.

JoshTurboTrollX

Hey trash man,

The only TG game you will ever need is Shockman.  Get Shockman and be ready to be amazed.  :)
Jossshhhhh...Legendary TurboTrollX-16: He revenge-bans PCE Developers/Ys IV Localizers from PCE Facebook groups and destroyed 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Josh and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner (extortion/blackmail!), never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

CMA Death Adder has Splatterhouse for sale, so you may wanna hit him up.  He has some other good hu cards for sale too, such as Parasol Stars.  I just bought from him and give positive feedback, so you don't have to use crap ebay.

Colossus1574

SplatterHouse was definitely a great arcade port-over for the Turbo, i rank it up there with R-Type! (Big props to NEC for not totally censoring the hell out of it like most releases bank in those days!) both HuCards made it pretty pointless to go out and dump quarters in the machines. Fighting Street on the other hand....LOVE pounding on those big rubber buttons

Nazi NecroPhile

Welcome aboard.  See ceti's post for recommending HuCards, but add in Air Zonk, Bomberman '93, Military Madness, Bonk's Adventure, Bonk's Revenge, and Bonk's Big Adventure if you have a wad of cash burning a hole in your pocket.

Where's the China Warrior.

You need to try that game also.  You'll either love it or hate it.
This "max-level forum psycho" () destroyed TWO PC Engine groups in rage: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook "Because Chris 'Shadowland' Runyon!," then the other by Aaron Nanto "Because Le NightWolve!" Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together... Both times he blamed the Aarons in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

henrycsc

Absolutely right!  There is NO in-between with that one.... LOL
