10/31/2023: Localization News - Dead of the Brain 1!

No, NOT a trick, a Halloween treat! Presenting the Dead of the Brain 1 English patch by David Shadoff for the DEAD last official PC Engine CD game published by NEC before exiting the console biz in 1999! I helped edit/betatest and it's also a game I actually finished in 2023, yaaay! Shubibiman also did a French localization. github.com/dshadoff/DeadoftheBrain

Ok, so I was doing a cap replacement and somehow I managed to screw up and I hope this is not a total waste now... one of the copper mounts came off the board where a cap should be soldered to... is it possible to get this piece of copper connected back to the board? Or will I have to figure something else out with this?

For what it's worth, I still have clear sound... one leg is just floating there (perhaps just barely touching the trace)... with nothing to connect to...

And for those that might think it... No, this is not the first time I had to solder something... even though it may sound that way...

Just follow the trace where the pad came off back to another solder point, and connect the cap there.
The copper traces are just like small wires. If needed, you can solder a thin wire to the trace (clean off the coating, first) and the cap.

Thanks for the info... glad I didn't screw up the board at all...
