You're favorite Darius!

Please give a little explanation for you favorite version of Darius!  Inquiring minds want to know!  Mine is Darius Gaiden on the Saturn!  I just love the graphic style on that version the best.  Plus the mid boss capture is nice as well!  Also has my favorite music from out of the other games.  I love Zuntata!  

Runner up for me is Darius II/Sagaia on MegaDrive.

Heck.  I haven't played enough of these and I can't even remember if Darius Twin was any good.  Hey, why is the SMS Sagaia lumped together with the GB version?!?

Super Darius II, fun, awesome visuals, cool music, has SOME challenge (but not to much).

Super Darius II. I've only played the PC Engine versions of Darius, and it's the best of the bunch. Never played Alpha, and likely never will with the price it fetches these days unless I turn to emulation...

My favorite will always be Super Darius, which I got before my Turbo CD and studied the manual for weeks while waiting for my CD-ROM to arrive.

My unbiased choice would be Super Darius II, one of the nicest looking 16-bit games around and very balanced for a single screen game with such huge sprites.

Hey, why is the SMS Sagaia lumped together with the GB version?!?

If the SMS version is going to get lumped in with any other, it should be the MD game.

Yeah I wasn't thinking when I added those.  Put them both as separate options.  I left Darius II/Sagaia for arcade and MD since they are so close.

I've only played Darius Twin on the SNES as it's the only one I own and it is definitely NOT my favorite.  It is very unforgiving (IMO).  Hopefully the others are more fun to play.

Darius Gaiden the most experince i had compare to the others.

Of the two Darius games that I've played (Darius Gaiden & G-Darius), I like G-Darius more. The music & graphics alone make this game breathtaking (of course, that's not to say that the graphics & music of the other games suck).
