END OF LINE.

SuperPlay

I picked up on this vid a while back when I was looking for CES stuff on UTube.  Even though I did not see the show or have the pleasure of Johnny Arcade (as I live in the UK) it does have a great retro feel to it.

We had programmes like this:
When this was on the TV I had already left school!  God I am getting old  ;-)

DragonmasterDan

Video Power.

That show had a hilarious intro. It also started super early in the morning

Burnt Lasagna

That exact same Bonk costume used to be propped up at my local used game store, it was usually holding signs for discounts/events they were having until eventually the store ran out of business.
What Button Do You Press To Jump!?!

I used to watch Video Power every chance I got. I still go to YouTube and watch clips now and then. I'd kill for some DVDs of the complete series, but I can't imagine anyone taped that many episodes.
If anyone gets any leads on a "fair priced" copy of Coryoon, please lemme know!

Where is fancy bred?

DragonmasterDan

The show seems vaguely familiar.  Man, the guy in the Bonk suit must be saying something along the lines of "Man, this guy's an idiot, or atleast whoever wrote his lines is"  :D

Of course there was the game pro tv show too:

Hah, I remember Gamepro TV.  Also, I remember a gameshow that had crappy bluescreen games but they would also play console games occasionally.  The episode I remember most was around the SNES launch and some kid couldn't make the guy jump in Act Raiser, he just ran down the time running against a little step in the first level.  It was hilarious.

I definitely remember GamePro TV, but not the other show...
...boy, that was a different time...  :)
