I need some new games...

It's been a couple months since I've last bought a TG-16 game, and I'm in need of trying some new ones. Which game would you recommend if I'm looking for a quirky, good example of what distinguishes this system's library from other systems? (No CD games, as I don't have a Duo).

For the low price, you will not find a more quirky and fun TG-16 huey that shows off the systems power.

Try Somer Assault. You get to be this...um...thing that can shoot it's enemies and you have to foil the plans of an evil sorceress by defeating her occult symbol minions or whatever.

It's very strange and weird but, fun once you get used to it.

Not sure what games you have... but

American - Blazing Lazers, Solider Blade, Magical Chase, Raiden, Bloody Wolf, Devils Cursh, Legendary Axe, Any Bomberman and Aero Blasters...

Japanese w/converter- Street Fighter 2, Salamander, W-Ring 1943, Ninja Gaiden, Paradius Twin Bee and Valkyrie no Densetsu

All of course IMHO

Hero Tonma is rare? It's THAT rare?? Oh my gosh! I had no idea! That's one of the last ones I got from TZD a few years before their stock really began to decrease.

Well aint that a hoot! I have one of the games that people go nuts about!
My depression is lifted! Weeee!

Guess that makes me a bigshot. Who wants my autograph? Ha ha ha ha...

EDIT: I second Chew Man Fu for being quirky and unique to the TG16. It's fun too!

If you can get your hands on Batman for the PC Engine that's a fun game also. Worth getting your system modded for.

If you don't have a copy of Air Zonk/PC Denjin definitely go get that one right away. It's really the definitive TG-16 game in my opinion, and probably my favorite Hu-Card. It really shows off what the PCE can do, has great sound and music, fun gameplay, great characters, graphics, everything! Get it!!
