My Neo PCE Flash Card not working with ic region modded systems

I got a neo pce flash card loaded with us games. It doesn't work with any of the systems I have that is modded with an IC region mod. The systems that are modded with the IC are a turbografx, pc-engine and a turbo express. However it works fine in my unmodded turbo express and my push botton region modded turbo duo. Any body have any ideal why and how I can get around this?

i havent had a neoflash in hand.
however i have been watching this closely.
i have suspected a few things, but it still remains somewhat unknown.
so far it seems the TG16 works better with a chip mod.
some expresses work, others dont (with or without region mod)

It has to be something related to voltages. Maybe there not enough potential to run the IC region chip and the pce flash cart at the same time. Like I said earlier, it works fine on my 8dpst push button region modded turbo duo. My turbografx and pce have the IC chip I got from electro something a couple years ago and my turbo express gots bluebmw's.

the chip mod from a few years back is much different.
the new one is very low resistance and low power use.
im wondering how the neo handles rebooting the system into the game from the menu.
also does the menu work?

I was trying to figure out this problem as well a while back, but my system has the older IC mod. I think someone suggested connecting the region mod board to 12v instead? but I have not tried that

for mine the menu always works, but crashes when i try to load a game, and sometimes when i hit reset button on the neoflash

i would need more info on the card to say for sure, but i think its an initialization prob.

My turbo express has the new IC I got from bluebmw and the card is not working on it. Also, I can't get past the pce menu as well.

if it was voltage or region mod the menu would fail

I have one of those too. I have it flashed for PCE since most of my machines are Japanese BUT... I tried to use it on a TurboGrafx-16 with the Jap to US converter and it didn't work. Regular jap Hucards were working OK.
