Anyone know if there's a source or sources? Stone Age Gamer is contemplating a deluxe Turbo Everdrive, and he asking for a source. Not sure how many he'd want, probably quite a bit, I think the Turbo ED will sell well.

Thanks.

I wish there was one. Hucard sleeves have been reproduced, but not cases. I've never seen anyone sell them, other than a lot of a dozen or so on ebay once every few years. The Goat Store had a couple cases for $5/each, but that was years ago. Everyone here has either used standard CD cases with the inner ring removed or cannibalized cheap games. Even when you do find extra cases, scraping off the old stickers and replacing cracked covers is a pain in the butt.
I'm a cunt, always was. Topic Adjourned.

www.seymoronion.com makes replacement vinyl sleeves for Hucards and has been planning to make new Hucard trays for jewel cases as well (Click on "Game Cases & Sleeves" on the left). Maybe if they partner up, the trays will finally go into production.

Good call Deletion. Seymor just needs the funding for the trays and a collaboration would be great for all of us!

I saw his site on google, but had no idea how long it was sitting there unproduced. I'll let them know, but I doubt it's enough to warrant production. There's not much of a market for thousands of TG-16 jewel cases.

Put me down for a pre-order of 50 cases.
I'm busy playing pinball, but I still drop by to visit.

It is going to be several months, at least, before I'll have the HuCard Trays available for sale.

I need to raise about $ 1,450 more dollars before I can pay a visit to a local prototyping company.

I just got some e-mails from StoneAgeGamer.
I'm gonna discuss it further with them via e-mail. ;)
You all are free to post whatever I write in my e-mails to ya, on any website ya want to.

I am very excited about the possibility of being able to order tray inserts as well. I recently got a set of Sparky Stickers and ordered a ton of empty jewel cases to give a home to my loosies, so if I could swap out the disc insert at some point with a HuCARD insert, wow, that would be awesome.

A couple is 2, a few is 3 so what is several? >4, but <12? [-o<

Seymor, I know you want to keep the cost below $1 per unit, but what if you launched with a $2 or $1.50 price tag to offset the costs? Would that help?

$1450 eh? How many more hu sleeves do you have to sell?

Sorry for the late reply; for some reason my notifications were turned off. #-o

To clarify my vague estimate:
It will take about 2 to 4 months to go from the start of the Prototyping Phase to having Cases and Trays ready to sell.
I should have written it like that in the first place... :-#

I might need to sell the first batch for more than a dollar each. I am open to that suggestion, but will try to avoid it, if it is at all possible.

Sales are picking up a bit, but I still need to earn just over a grand. 8)

I recently moved back to the APT, and took a bunch of the Sleeves, boxes, and all of my Games, Systems, Books and so on, with me.
When I run low on Boxes or Sleeves, I can just get more from the Warehouse.
I cancelled the Landline Phone and Internet Services @ the Warehouse, emptied and turned off the fridge, and drained and turned off the Water Heater.
I set the AC to 79 degrees (F) and set the dehumidifier to 48%.

I did this so I could save some money, and add it to the Prototyping Goal.
It's kind of depressing, moving back in with my folks, but hey, whatever works, eh?
