Aldynes: four loops?

Hi,

I could have sworn that one of you folks mentioned that there are four loops in Aldynes.... and then you will get to the "real" ending.

I have never beaten the first loop (I can never pass this lightning shooting orb towards the end of the game)...

Any info on this would be great. For example, does anything change significantly as you progress from one loop to the next?  I would expect the enemies/bullets to be faster....

How do you know there are four loops?  Instruction manual? Shoot-em-up site?

Damn, four loops? I've never even motivated myself enough to get past the first level.

I wish I could remember who mentioned this.  I did a "search" but couldn't find the thread.  

they said, "did anyone ever complete all four loops to get the REAL ending?"

I crapped my pants.  4 loops would take a long time... unless there's a special "warp zone" that I don't know about --- like the mysterious gradius warps...

I never heard of this. There is a japanese page that has a tutorial to help beat it, but for the life of me i cannot find it. Hopefully it's still there.

i know... and i'm still working on a 1-credit first loop, can't beat the final boss.
