How's your weekend going?

blazing sunshine yesterday so we headed to the park (after the Saturday morning post office run), for frisbee, football and beer. Also got hit right in the left nut with the football which took me out for like 5 minutes. Then we ended up playing 2 frisbees and football at the same time with some other random guys.

Then we hit the pub where I managed to tell the most attractive girl in there that she smelled like a dog, then making her really like me. Strange times.

Off to cook a roast dinner now. Brocolli is a flower apparantly.

*edit* oh yeah, and my games arrived from hit-japan!

it was good. but unfortunatelly already came to its near end.

ate a lot, drunk a lot and watched some movies n stuff.
also got me an ardbeg 10yo islay single malt whiskler not more than an hour ago

will give me a smooth finish of this WE

Hot as hell in kansas too!! Went to work for 4 hours on Saturday. Have to go my sister n law baby shower later day. Would really like to catch batman this evening. Also been playing my turbo express a lot lately since its more enjoyable with the bigger 3.5" LCD:)

Just got back. Dunno what it is, but after me and Donna split, it took me ages to get back ino the social life, but right now I feel like I'm on fire, back to the same level I was like 7 years ago, when I could go out and carry an entire evening on my own.

Bit quieter tonight, but still had a blast with a bunch of people, and got some good anecdotes out of it.

Glad to see you guys are having fun - I'm so damned positive at the moment!

Attended family reunions. I dislike them because they remind me too much that time never stops. All the very young relatives I remembered from before not only grew up, they got married and had children of their own. Half of the older people I knew from last time didn't make it back, they got too old. :/

I did end the weekend with some fun. Got to fly in hot air balloon.

POST WEEKEND UPDATE: Happily eating lots of leftovers from party we hosted on Sunday. I deserve it, since I spent many, many, many hours mowing/weeding/landscaping/vacuuming/cleaning/scrubbing in preparation for it.

Holy hell. Spent at least 3 hours playing frisbee. I must say, I think that by now, I'm pretty damn good.
Anyway, because I knew it was a hot day, and that I'd be running about all day, I decided I'd take a shower afterwards rather than before. I don't think I've ever smelled that bad.

I even wore a shirt afterwards.

FRIDAY: Dinner w/ friends. Pro Tip: Panang tofu curry needed more lemongrass, coconut milk and curry. Luckily, the amazing avocado salad made up for this.

SATURDAY: Drank coffee all day hoping it would de-clog my congested nose and relieve my sore throat. Packed vehicle for mini-vacation in Boston. "Yay! I'm done packing!" I said to myself. FORGOT TO PUT COOLER IN VEHICLE. NO ROOM FOR COOLER. Unload and re-pack.

SUNDAY: Drove up to Boston. Drank coffee entire drive. Wondered how many (if any) fellow travelers were listening to the PSG tunes from Dragon Spirit and Legendary Axe and Timeball and Blodia whilst driving. Continued sipping coffee.

MONDAY 7:00am: I woke up an hour ago, but I better go out and GET SOME COFFEE before everyone else wakes up.

You're probably better off with the HuCARD R-Type. But, if you love the game (like I do), you can't help but seek out all the different versions. I actually like the music because it is dated (very 80's). It's not stellar, but it invigorates something "new" into the standard ol' R-Type.
