@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

All I have is a TurboGrafx-CD with a standard CD card so I can't play Super CDs. Does anyone have one they're willing to part with? Or know where I can find one for a decent price?

...or would it just be easier to buy a PC-Engine Duo or Turbo Duo (which I'm also considering for convenience sake)

PC-Engine Duo is the way to go.

This came up recently here:

In ascending order of cost, your SCD options are:
$20-30 buy a PCE 3.0 Card and a Chopsade converter
$30-50 a PCE 3.0 card and a region modification
$50-100 buy a PCE 3.0 Card and a Miria converter
$100-200 buy the U.S. 3.0 Card OR a PCE Duo/Duo-R

As you can see, the U.S. 3.0 version isn't exactly cost effective.

If you want to play ACD games, an Arcade Card Pro costs a bit more than the PCE 3.0 card, but let's you play everything.

Haha... solid Austin Powers reference. I used to have a PC-Engine Duo-R. I picked up the TurboGrafx CD because I wanted 'something', but completely didn't consider that it didn't play Super CDs until I hooked everything up. I'll probably go that route if I can find a PC-Engine Duo - do I just have to keep my eye out on eBay or is there a better source for someone selling their PC-Engine (or, fingers crossed, Turbo Duo)?

PCE 3.0 card and hack your system (about $10 with switch if you can do it yourself) or a chopsado adapter is the best option

Yeah that is a good idea, Mod your sysem and find the PCE 3.0 card, they should not be that expensive.

Exactly! Just buy a Chopsado and the very common PC Engine Super System 3.0 card (or Arcade Card Pro for another $20-30).

I got lucky with my US SSC 3.0. Wish others could be as lucky. :(

Reasonably-priced PCE Duo's occasionally appear on ebay (search worldwide), but these forums are your best bet. Some of the repair guys fix up broken units and resell them. Post a WTB.

I just found a PC Engine Duo for a good enough price for me ($100), too bad it doesn't include cords, but I'm okay with that. Thanks for the offer, though!
