Blown AC Adapter port - Turbo Express / GT

I am working on a unit that had a bad AC adapter port, it is obvious the middle pin shorted ground. The fuse has been repaired so batteries work fine, but the AC Adapter port is shot, sending voltage directly to the input pin does nothing. Could it be the large part (what I assume is an inverter) that is on the opposite side of the board of the battery plugin terminal?


Anyone have a schematic on the AC line so I can trace the bad part? So far I have traced but not found the bad part.
