10/31/2023: Localization News - Dead of the Brain 1!

No, NOT a trick, a Halloween treat! Presenting the Dead of the Brain 1 English patch by David Shadoff for the DEAD last official PC Engine CD game published by NEC before exiting the console biz in 1999! I helped edit/betatest and it's also a game I actually finished in 2023, yaaay! Shubibiman also did a French localization. github.com/dshadoff/DeadoftheBrain

Is the guy holding that auction some kind of reseller, maybe operating under another id? I only ask because I mean, who actually needs 3-4 copies of every US title. If you look at the games in the background he has multiples of many titles. Anyone around here know who this guy is?

I'm not familiar with him, but he was the subject of this recent thread: Has anyone managed to read this entire eBay description?

So basically he is some strange reseller who feels compelled to make up background stories for the stuff he list sometimes.

He is a reseller who claims each game he sells is part of his collection.  high prices.  claims poor engrish one minute but uses very good english another.  just another seller looking for the best dollar.
Games currently in play:
PS3: COD Ghosts
TG16: Boxyboy

I like how he has 4 copies of bonks revenge, splatterhouse, and silent debuggers in the background. Who needs all those if you are not a re-seller?

tggodfrey

yeah there is no way they are just cases right?

Could be. When I was buying turbo games from pawn shops in the 90s 9 times out of ten, I would get a case that wouldn't match the game I wanted. I ended up getting a whole lot of cases with mismatch games (world class baseball in the fantasy zone case) but hell for a few bucks I wasn't really complaining. :)
