Since the top 10 list is going so well in the TG-16 discussion, I thought I'd also create a PCE list.  I'll Break it up into HU-Card and CD as well.  There are  many many games to choose from so this should be fun, feel free to list more than ten as well since there are so many games I think we can go beyond the top 10.  PCE power player points will be broken down as follows: 1 = 12 /2=10 /3=8 /4=7 /5=6/so on to 10=1

I feel like I shouldn't respond to this as I really don't know the PCE library very well. I certainly can't answer the HuCards, but here's my current take on CD games.

I strongly suspect Gulliver Boy and Anearth would make the list, but I haven't played enough of either yet.

Gulliver Boy isn't bad, I just can't understand Japanese. Think Lunar on Steroids well before they ported it to the playstation. :)

Is this list supposed to be only games not released on the TG?

I assumed it was.

I believe that it is just PCE games in general, similar to how the recent 'Top TG-16' list didn't exclude games which also appeared on PCE.

It can include any game including those found on the TG16, Although to be honest I think there are only a few games that will make both lists.  If there is overwhelming support for non-TG16 only I can switch it to that.  I can also include a list from those that are Japanese speakers separate from the English / Other language only speakers, If anybody would like me too.

Oh my.  This could be tricky.  Plus, I still don't have all the games I want, so I'm limited to what I have (and I don't have many CD games).

The more times I play through Turbo Valis III, the more I appreciate it and feel that it is one of my favorite games and a genuinely great game for the right reasons.

Thank you for publicly stating this. Obviously, it isn't perfect, but "perfection" isn't necessary for providing an enjoyable experience. Especially one that you find yourself revisiting repeatedly over the years.

VALIS III.

'nuff said.

Possibly, I think the PCE library is a little daunting for English speakers as well as for people to narrow down.

ANd what a fun mix of titles and styles there. I didn't expect to see a magicoal or brandish!

My favourites change order a lot depending on my mood, but I'll try to narrow them down as of how I feel about them right now (note: I mostly just play Hu-Card games, so there will be more of those featured, also, I hope you don't mind the western TurboGrafx names)

There are a lot more games that I like, some that I might even like better than what I've put in the list, but either haven't played them enough, haven't played them in a while or don't feel confident enough about ranking them, besides, it's really tough to choose what are the best games on a system with so many great games in it...

I've considered having ties in some of these rankings, but when my list turned out to have way too many games tied in the top few spots, I've decided against it in the end...

turboswimbz

Updated the CD games ... this takes a bit of time and effort to record.  I have a good chunk of the hucard data ready, just got to add some numbers up etc. and then I will update that section

There does seem to be a clear winner in the CD section so far though.

Yes, I am so glad I jumped in, I'll never thank my friend who showed it to me enough!
I still really really love my Saturn (my favorite console) but the PCE is just right there with it in my heart:)!
The Valis games are my absolute treasure, it's unbelievable how underappreciated that series is!

Ahh I still need to update this.  WIll do over the weekend.  Thanks, Everyone.

SON SON II -> I quite like this game.  I find it charming... It feels fun to control and there is a fair amount of whimsy.
NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)
BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere. You can't tell most retro gamers anything!
