All games are US versions complete with jewel case, manual and game unless noted (cardboard boxes not included). Shipping in the USA is $4 for 1 or 2 games, $6 for 3 or 4 games, or free shipping if you buy 5 or more games. International shipping varies by location.

I actually petitioned the mods of reddit.com/r/gamecollecting to remove Rarity guide from its informational sidebar, because the pricing and rarities were sooo inaccurate. Here is the PM I sent the mods.

Rarity guide does a massive disservice to new members of the community, as the information is either massively outdated ($prices), or just straight up wrong (rarities), to the point of being laughable.

Some examples to convince you:

    Sculptor's Cut is listed as $38 loose. It is routinely sold for $100-150.
    Hagane is listed for $35 loose. I wish. $200-300 these days.
    Sculptor's Cut is listed as 82% rarity. Harvest Moon is listed as 81%. These aren't even in the same class (rarest game for the system, vs. uncommon)
    Hagane is a laughable 51% rarity.
    Chew Man Fu is listed as the 2nd rarest TG16 game, at 94%. This is ridiculous, it is actually uncommon.
    Legend of Hero Tonma is listed at 58%. It is ridiculously rare.
    World Sports Competition is listed at 17%. It is one of the rarest games for the system

It took me 10 minutes to find these absurd numbers. This information is wrong, bad, and we should discourage its use.

In fact, that is what pisses off this forum the most, that people are willing to pay ebay-level prices for turbografx games, driving the prices up.

Yep, a wise man once said "there's a sucker born every minute".  Obviously not enough to buy up all the overpriced stuff on eBay, though, else there wouldn't be so many unsold auctions.

I've had a huge dropoff in that last 3-6 months, and so have others. If you expect to get games free, or super cheap, find another seller. I don't give stuff away for super cheap prices, and I don't price gouge either. I don't believe the rarity guide is out of date. Are some things on that site a bit out of date? Sure. But I don't go by Ebay prices either. I've done great deals with people here, sold about a dozen games here recently at good prices with free shipping, so don't get all hurt because I wouldn't sell you Cadash and Parasol Stars for $10 shipped. :-) Thank you...

I get watchers and bids for retro video games faster than anything else I've ever sold with the possible exception of Beta Magic Cards. Retro games invariably attract a bidding war and end way higher than I thought possible.

Maybe this isn't true, but it sounds like you want to sell these here for more than you can get on ebay. If so, I suggest you run for the hills.

I have 100% feedback on Ebay and have sold many games and bought many more games than I've ever sold. I'm no dealer, that's for sure. I'm not trying to justify any inflated prices. If you don't think Cadash is worth $50 shipped, offer $30 or $40. I may accept it, I may not. Again, I sold all of my CD games here within days at prices people thought were very fair and even paid for shipping. And I don't see anything wrong TV Sports games priced at $10 shipped. That's $6 plus $4 shipping. No one has even made an offer or requested those crappy games, so I have no idea what you're talking about anyway. People have mainly expressed interest in the same games: Bonk's Revenge, Cadash, Parasol Stars, Splatterhouse. I already sold Raiden and Psychosis for good prices to good people. The moral of the story is not to take it personally if you can't get Parasol Stars for $10 shipped by Express Mail. If you don't agree with the quoted prices, or feel they're too high, or you want a bundle deal, free shipping, just make a counter offer.

I guess I did cherry pick, however, it was an accident. Your method is more fair.  It just happened that was just the first two items I searched, as I was interested in those titles. It was not intentional.

That said, it would be interesting to do a comparison of VGPC values, and unsold items. As the gouging thread points out, often, many sellers list items 2x-5x higher than current fair market value. I doubt many items go unsold that are within range of the current FMV.

I'm not making a claim, either way. I don't sell TG16 stuff on ebay, so I can't even speak from personal experience. That said, sales for the stuff I do sell (N64, SNES, mostly) are doing great.

I sent him USD $30.00 for two games thinking he still had them, because he sent me a counteroffer which I did not bother to look at until the next day, got excited and sent him the money right away, not realizing on his post they were sold before I could respond.
He sent my money back as soon as he could.

MotherGunner... people don't upset me, I like the opportunity to set them straight on a few things. I would normally keep all of these TG-16 games, but I am closer to a complete set of Sega Master System games than I am a complete set of TG-16 games, so for now the SMS takes precedence. Like I said earlier, these games aren't really for sale, I have no desire to gut my entire TG-16 collection since that would just kill me. I was just putting it out there to see who was interested in what. I can understand people getting hurt because they can't get Splatterhouse or Bonk's Revenge on the super cheap but I'm always willing to cut deals and work with people who really want the games and care about retro gaming as much as I do. At any price, it's painful to sell any games from my collection.

Sega, with much respect I ask you to please keep it humble.  I realize some of these guys may have hit a nerve (at least) and though your sentiment now is justified, I find no reason to dangle the carrot on this particular sales list to these guys by now sending mixed signals on what you really want to do. 

Please consider what you really want to do with these so that guys can take the time to work with you and take some games off your hands.

My humor doesn't come across as well in type vs in person. I wasn't offered $10 for Cadash, that was just a joke because 90% of the people who messaged me were wanted Cadash and I priced it around the $50 point with free shipping. I am a full time collector and love the Turbo but by no means am I an expert like some people who contribute here and devote all their time to the Turbo. The Wii U also just came out and I wanted to pick up a game or two so I figured maybe sell/trade some of my games (I traded some to eStarland... my old Xbox 1). To come up with sales prices I basically looked on the price guide site, eBay, and what the game means to me. I started selling my CD games because I no longer had a Turbo CD, then just figured what the hell I'll post some chip games and see if anyone is interested. It's 99% been a pleasure to talk with everyone and get involved in the site. I apologize if I came off as arrogant.

PM me if you want a price. Again, I go mainly by the rarity guide and not ebay since not much is selling on Ebay anymore. There is a severe lack of buyers for just about anything on Ebay. Also, these games aren't really for sale. I mean, they are if you really want them at the price I'm asking or at least around that price or a fair offer for a bundle of games. I'm always willing to lower prices for the good people here. I just won't give them away. These games mean a lot to me. :-)

Rarity isn't a great resource.  They list the rareset TG-16 games as Magical Chase, Bonk 3 and then Chew Man Fu comes in 3rd.  Chew Man Fu!  However, Cadash is listed at $20 loose, $61 CIB.  I'd be willing to give you $30+shipping if the manual is in good shape, and the hu card is not scratched up.  Let me know. 

BTW, I didn't think a PM wasn't necessary.  I know what I'll pay and you know what you want to sell for, if you want to sell.

The cardboard box does not add 30 to the value, sorry. More like five or ten. Cadash with the jewel case, manual and game is worth 40 to 50 easily. And rarity guide is the BEST source for pricing. Everybody knows that. Ebay is second, however overpriced. I look forward to your PM.

You are right, the cardboard box does not add $30 to the value, but the game is not worth $50 easily.  Rarity Guide is a terrible source for pricing, but that's just my opinion.  I'm out.

I sent him USD $30.00 for two games thinking he still had them, because he sent me a counteroffer which I did not bother to look at until the next day, got excited and sent him the money right away, not realizing on his post they were sold before I could respond.
He sent my money back as soon as he could.

I just want to mention, its actually kind of rude to sell to another party while negotiating a price with someone. Granted, I dont usually just place things on hold right off the bat when someone ask a price in a general inquire, but once you start general negotiations on a price deal of some sort its generally considered polite to give the person 24-48 hrs to reply back since they are usually committed to making a transaction, especially if you sent them payment info, and if you cant wait that long and decide to sell it elsewhere, then to at least drop them a courtesy pm letting them know you're a impatient cunt so they wont send you payment by mistake.

And then you create problems like having someone submit payment when the items were already sold out from under them, due to your total impatience and utter lack of communication. Its a dickish thing to do, and given what you just said, confirms you go by a dick headed sales philosophy. Its good some people have had good transactions with you, but personally, after the above, you wont get my business, via buys or sales.

Evidently I do. Your tone and manner around here is real "take it or leave it" like, and you are a bit obnoxious concerning trying to get money fast at the expense of a collection you supposedly prize so much. You just admitted what a prior person had stated about your business tactics, that you wouldn't wait a day or two, nor were you willing to shoot him a pm to give him the courtesy of letting him know you decided to sell the item to someone else mid-negotiation. It has nothing to do with being on any damn high horse. Its common courtesy concerning forum transactions, communication, and a level of patience. I think pretty much anyone here would tell you this. You conduct yourself poorly here, you will get jumped on, and honestly, I am surprised I am the one bringing that part of this cluster fuck up. The guy you had to refund should have jumped down your throat about it on here, but he took the high road after getting his money back.

Evidently you have a problem with this thing called courtesy. I can understand 3-5 days as being too long, but at least have the decency to give the person 48 hrs and a message letting him know he needs to pay or the item will be sold to someone else. I mean, its cool another noob person has yet again arrived to dump their collection of TG stuff before riding off into the sunset. Not sure what you mean by this, but if you're suggesting that Cadash is worth more than $35 dollars you need to go back to school.  Anyone that uses RarityGuide as the be all, end all of pricing is delusional.  If you insist on using it as a reference I'll buy your CIB copy of Magical Chase for $720 right now.  While your at it throw me your CIB of Dead Moon for $27 and CIB Legend of Hero Tonma for $64.
