@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

Of all the ladies in the TG16/PCE/Duo realm who are fighting against whatever evil is facing them, which heroines stand out the most for you?

Right off the bat, the Priestess from Cadash comes to my mind as she was the first female protagonist I used in a TG-16 game.

Plus, Cadash was a damn good game anyway.  :)
My past-life would've surely led to our demise, and I had left it not a moment too soon. Our escape, though dangerous, had gone well. The train ride, sunlight, and passing snow-covered pine trees came together in a flickering show of our bright, new future together. Her head rested on my shoulder as she soundly slept to the gentle rocking of the passenger car. We felt freedom. We felt peace.

NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)
BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere. You can't tell most retro gamers anything!

Forgive my ignorance, but she is from which game?

Nice topic, by the way.  If game name can be posted along with heroine's name, that might help those of us who haven't been able to play every Turbo game yet.

My first answer, off the top of my head, would have to also be the priestess from Cadash as well, since it has been my favorite Turbo game since 1992, and I've really enjoyed playing through the game with her as my chosen warrior.

Yuko from Valis 1-4. She works hard and gets little to no appreciation for her efforts to protect the 3 different realms. Sad but true. For all her efforts she was rewarded with a shity hentai game.   [-X

I second that. Cadette Babette.

Arkhan Asylum

This "max-level forum psycho" () destroyed TWO PC Engine groups in rage: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook "Because Chris 'Shadowland' Runyon!," then the other by Aaron Nanto "Because Le NightWolve!" Him and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together... Both times he blamed the Aarons in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner, never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

There's a version of that sequence with less steam on the Cosmic Fantasy Visual collection.
