Went to go grab a quick bit my alarm went of and I went to go check it out, I think the dude park next to me did a grab and go. Just took the 3 pakages I had and my cd case.

Contact the cops. Also contact the Mcdonalds. You should have made a police report when it happened to report the theft, which you can still do if you have not done so yet. Its possible a security camera may have caught the theft in action. If you took pics prior to the theft, that will help also to prove the items are yours. Was your car door not locked, windows down or something?

If you actually think the police here are going to put any time into this, you're wrong.  A detective isn't going to go out, speak with people, pull video, watch it, hope for evidence and track someone down over $20 worth of old video games.  I think it sucks that he lost his game to some scumbag thief too.  But to believe that an officer is going to go out of his way to investigate this case is far fetched.  Chalk it up to a loss and life lesson.
