We have been living in an apartment since we've been in Pooler, GA. We're closing on our house on August 5th. Can't wait to have my own game room and a better work area again. Right now my office is in the kitchen with a small work desk next to the frig.

Holy shit dude!  Congrats!!  That looks amazing.

We just closed on our house in March.  Our original closing date was March 1st but got pushed back two extra weeks. (Which I hear can be pretty normal)  Just be patient and enjoy your home when you do wind up getting the keys!

You will have to share pics of before and after the gamer room is complete!!
Jossshhhhh...Legendary TurboTrollX-16: He revenge-bans PCE Developers/Ys IV Localizers from PCE Facebook groups and destroyed 2 PC Engine groups: one by Aaron Lambert on Facebook, then the other by Aaron Nanto!!! Josh and PCE Aarons don't have a good track record together! Both times he blamed the Aarons and their staff in a "Look-what-you-made-us-do?!" manner (extortion/blackmail!), never himself nor his deranged, destructive, toxic turbo troll gang!

Good for you man!  I wish I could move.

Thanks, I'm hoping we'll close on time because we're pretty much set to move in on August 5th. I'll be really pissed if the closing gets push out.

I'll post some pics of my game room once we get all situated.

a house like that in england would probably cost about half to one million pounds depending on location

PunkCryborg

Congrats! Man I'm dreaming of a garage like that one

Nice driveway.  I wish they used concrete in Canada.  I have asphalt and I find it just breaks down.  Especially at my house, we have an older home (built in 1968) so it anytime we have work down to the house the driveway takes a beating.

Your new digs look incredible.  I'd kill for that gameroom.  Congrats!
I'm busy playing pinball, but I still drop by to visit.

Gorgeous home! I am envious of the ROOMS you will have. I have no extra space. I used to have an extra room, prior to twins, though. Ha!

I think he was asking about sun exposure—what direction does your home face? Some folks have preferences...  :pcgs:

Dare you to paint a giant Bonk on your garage door.

Then it will go from a 9.5/10 to a 11/10.  Awesome man!

LOL.  He wants to know how the house is exposed to the sun.  Is it south, west, east or north facing?  Where does the sun set in the afternoon?

We closed on our house on Monday and spent the last couple of days moving. Moving from a third floor apartment sucks ass. I'm too old for this shit. I had to hire a couple movers for all the heavy lifting. We pretty much got everything moved except for some clothing and a few things.

Hey late to say it but congrats man, that's a great price for the house, there is a brighter light at the end of the tunnel to pay off a mortgage like that :)

Good price is right. I have half that house for double the price. Damn, I hate New England.

Congrats, TK. With all that empty space, are you tempted to get even more gaming goodies?

I didn't have that problem, my guys spoke English just fine. My problem were that two of them was bickering back and forth, it was actually pretty comical.

Thanks Nulltard, yeah I got it from a really cool member here:)

I did some re-arrangement over the weekend. I had to get another shelve to accommodate some of my transformers.

Damn, turbokon!

Usually, when I see that much boxed PCE hardware, I'm jealous of tats. BUT HE HAS A TINY APARTMENT AND COVERS EVERYTHING WITH DUSTY TOWELS. You don't have any dirty hand towels blanketing your gear. WHICH MEANS I WON'T BE EXPOSED TO HORDES OF DUST MITES. Which means I want to live in your game room. THERE IS ENOUGH ROOM FOR ME, EVEN IF I GAIN A FEW POUNDS. Sadly, tats doesn't have any room for me in the "multi-purpose room" that serves as his game room/living room/laundry room/bedroom/warehouse.

I'm packing up my things.
