I think he could call it Ronk, to avoid anyone sueing. Plus give him more room to work for a story.

I doubt there's much of anything to dig up and finish. If someone were to do a Bonk RPG it'd be from scratch, which is probably a good thing.

The pics Xak hotlinked (what a surprise!

) aren't from the actual Bonk RPG that was in development later on. Those are just some mockups which were done as a gag in a magazine. The real Bonk RPG looked terrible.

A troll came through here a few years ago claiming to have a working rom. It's surely just a matter of time until Bonk RPG sees a physical release!

As mentioned earlier, Bonk's RPG was cancelled.

I never could get behind a Bonk RPG. I mean he did so well as a platformer, it's almost an insult to ask Bonk to patiently wait for a time to attack his enemies when he's so used to just walking up to them and head-butting them to their demise.

An updated Bonk platformer with even more colorful visuals and crisp graphics would be welcome. I wasn't too crazy about the art style of the PS2 and GC remakes, but it was decent.

Who knows? I doubt they would have simply left it as "Bonk 4"...all the other games had extended titles.

If you look at the preview for "Bonk IV: The Role Playing Game", you'll notice a disclaimer at the bottom of the page (it's a really tiny font).

The battle screenshot looks pretty official. The overworld map looks like it could have been "shoppped" but the Battlescreen one looks good. I found more but dont know maybe you guys can shed light.

The fugly screen shots on that page are supposed to be real. The nice looking ones were never part of any development.
