@GTV reviews the Cosmic Fantasy 1-2 Switch collection by Edia, provides examples of the poor English editing/localization work. It's much worse for CF1. Rated "D" for disappointment, finding that TurboGrafx CF2 is better & while CF1's the real draw, Edia screwed it up...

EDIT: No longer needed! Keith Courage has hooked me up!

Thanks everyone

Bernie

Get with Keith Courage here in the forums.  He normally has a few Duos on hand.  I've bought form him before, and his work is top notch.

Thanks again for the input! I sent the guy a PM and hopefully he can help me out. I've heard good things about him and would definitely prefer to buy one from someone that knows their stuff.

Oh man I'm also looking for a Duo R as well. Good luck to ya! I may very well PM Keith Courage too.

Welcome!  Your first post was pretty cool and good luck on getting that Duo.  Like Bernie said, Keith and few of the other modders here tend to stock up on systems from time to time.  I think Keith is in Japan so sometimes he doesn't respond to PM's as fast.

I appreciate it! I'm currently in touch with Keith, working at maybe purchasing an IFU briefcase setup (though still torn between wanting a DUO-R/RX) and am getting pretty pumped about finally being able to explore the PCE platform. The community here seems real cool and I look forward to contributing to it.

MotherGunner

The R/RX are the most reliable as far as hardware is concerned, however, with a solid cap and laser job, any hardware is good to go.  I hear you man, there is just something so sexy about a white IFU setup.

Oh man... I think the black of the turbo 16/CD setup is a lot sleeker than the PCE briefcase thing.

I do too, and that is why I bought back my old set-up that I sold to MothGunner last year.  :)

I was approached by my neighbor who said he had his old turbografx somewhere in his attic about a year back. I tore his house apart and it was no where to be found. Was definitely unfortunate. He said he had the CD attachment as well.

I am in the US. I've just been slow to respond to people lately because work has been brutal.

No worries. This week is filled with mid terms for me as well so time is certainly limited.

and grats on that 1000th post  =D>

Keith is currently modding/preparing a PCE IFU setup for me so it seems as though the search has ended. I look forward to sharing my thoughts on the platform in the near future and getting to the bottom of this "obey" shit.

Thanks everyone!

Bernie

Awesome!  You will love it.
